She's probably the nicest hairstylist I've ever met! She's very friendly, helpful, and amiable. Although it was the first time we met, we hit if off right away! We were talking about all sorts of subjects. It was like meeting up with an old friend! I have never dyed my hair before and she was very easy to work with during the entire process. She uses certified organic ingredients which I like because the thought of chemically burning my hair and permanently damaging it with chemicals terrifies me! She also gave me helpful tips on how to care for my newly color treated hair and recommended the types of hair styling products to use. She also trimmed my hair and did such a fantastic job styling my hair! I went to a Christmas party afterwards and received a lot of compliments. I don't usually like my hair straightened because I have naturally wavy hair and it's a lost cause because my hair generally refuses to stay straight, but this time around I liked how the straightening turned out. She takes genuine pride in her work and it definitely shows! Another wonderful thing about Rosa is she is flexible. I called her at the last minute, (the afternoon before the party), and she was able to see me right away! I wasn't passively told to make sure to schedule an appointment ahead of time. Nor did she give me attitude for my last minute appointment. Now that's what I call quality and service! Parking is not at all an issue with tons of available spots in a private parking lot. This little business center complex doesn't have very many business so there isn't too much competition when it comes to parking spaces. Keep in mind that she only accepts cash or check. Since I only had my bank card with me, I asked her if I could go get a check at my house that is a block away and she agreed. I offered to leave my driver's license as collateral and she refused. She trusted me, a total stranger whom she met for the first time! Needless to say I tipped her well and made a promise to return. After years of searching, I think I finally found a hairstylist! We were texting about it and both of us were confused. I just wanted more highlights, and I wanted them much lighter. She kept recommending baby lights. But that would be my entire head. I sent her a photo of highlights in the shade I wanted. She said that was both high and low lights and would be 250. I told her my limit was 200, meaning that was out. She just didn't get it. So, I said ok, lets cancel while I think about it. That way I could reschedule in a day or two. She said that would be $25.00 added to my next appointment. What? We only made that appointment 2 hours ago! I'm not a child that needs to be punished! Ok, She is very young and I could be her grandmother. So, the next morning I texted her and asked if the appointment wasn't filled, I decided what I wanted, but I would need her to wave the $25 charge. She was offended. Well, I was offended too.
