We were texting about it and both of us were confused. I just wanted more highlights, and I wanted them much lighter. She kept recommending baby lights. But that would be my entire head. I sent her a photo of highlights in the shade I wanted. She said that was both high and low lights and would be 250. I told her my limit was 200, meaning that was out. She just didn't get it. So, I said ok, lets cancel while I think about it. That way I could reschedule in a day or two. She said that would be $25.00 added to my next appointment. What? We only made that appointment 2 hours ago! I'm not a child that needs to be punished! Ok, She is very young and I could be her grandmother. So, the next morning I texted her and asked if the appointment wasn't filled, I decided what I wanted, but I would need her to wave the $25 charge. She was offended. Well, I was offended too. She made me feel like a child getting a slap on the hand. In my eyes I was giving her a chance and I feel she needs to work with people. She kept texting me with a lot of disrespect. She was trying to turn the entire thing around like she is perfect, and no one is better than her as a stylist. She thinks it was about her prices. Wrong, I have no problem with what someone charges, I just keep it to what I can afford. But...Don't treat me like a child. I finally had to block her number. Kali is disrespectful period. She has a lot of growing up to do.

When it was my turn to get ready for my vow renewal, I wouldn't have trusted anyone but her. She understood very well that I am not someone that normally wears makeup and she listened carefully to my request to make me look as natural as possible. I was glowing, she enhanced my natural features without making me look like a different person, which I was admittedly very nervous about. My hair was done by Malerie, Glamology's curly hair specialist and again, WOW! my hair had never looked better, what's even better is that despite the strong winds and mist in Big Sur that day, my curls looked amazing for 3 days!!!! Also, something that I have not experienced with other stylists, is that she takes the time to talk to you about your expectations, she is quick to respond to any questions and very professional.
