We originally came to Chris looking for land, and he proved immediately that he truly knows the Fredericksburg area and surrounding region inside and out. His depth of knowledge gave us real confidence that we were in the right hands. What happened next was something we didn't expect: on a whim, we decided to take a look at a few resales just to see what was out there .... and we found our next home. Without missing a beat, Chris pivoted seamlessly and guided us all the way to closing. That kind of flexibility and attentiveness to what his clients actually need is rare. Throughout the entire process, which spanned a few months, Chris was consistently responsive, resourceful, and creative. When challenges came up, he found solutions by thinking outside the box rather than hitting a wall. And through it all, it was genuinely painless. If you're looking for an agent who is knowledgeable, patient, and truly invested in your best interest, look no further. We cannot recommend Chris highly enough!

Chris has helped me purchase and sell homes in the Fredericksburg, VA area, but he also helped me look around Richmond, VA for investment properties. He was always on time and had great behind-the-scenes information on the investment. I've leaned on him for real estate and financial advice several times. If you're moving to the area and you need local expertise with genuinely deep business knowledge, Chris and his team are the way to go!

Along with Rick, they did worked endless hours to find a match for us. They worked as if they were buying the home for their own. Their advices were right on and they did not shy away from pointing some deal breakers that we wouldn't notice otherwise. Thank you Rick and Anna in making sure we have a dream home like the one we bought. You guys are a dream team for anyone wanting to buy or Sell. Prior to buying, I rented from them and I was pleasantly surprised by their well detailed and explained fees and charges. Simply put, Home dream Realty is the cream of the crop when it comes to real estate.

BEWARE of Home Dream Realty. My dad passed away and I could only pay the March rent. I was told…read moreI had to be out by the end of March but I was still obligated for the rent through the end of April unless they could rent it out before the end of April. They were going to take my deposit for the April rent. They listed it for $400 more over my rent so they had a hard time renting it out. I left at the end of March and was told I could not back on the property because I didn't pay Aprils rent. I learned from my lawyer that was a lie, they couldn't kick me out even if I hadn't paid the rent. I should have had access to the property. Technically, they shouldn't charge me when they refused to let me on the property Home Dream Realty wouldn't fix things that were wrong with the house, I paid to have people come over and fixed the attic vents 3 times and pay the people gas, buy the plastic and duck tapes because they would not send someone out quickly. Gusty winds were blowing rain in the attic and I was trying to prevent mold. My bathroom water in the sink was dripping for over 5 months non-stop, running up my water bill and they did not fix it for 5 months and only fixed it then because I told them my dad passed away and I had to move. The Bathroom toilets were also running at a different times and it took them awhile before people came out to fix it. I ended up with almost $800 water bill. I had to take leave and go to Spotsylvania county and beg them to get rid of the bill. Kitchen sink had water leak for over a year and was never fixed until I told them I was moving. Took years to get the laundry room doors fixed, I hung a bed sheet over the door way. The landlord would never fix anything. I talked with people who lived there before me and experienced the same stuff. I have tonz more issues like this with emails, texts and printed documents to back up my claim. They sent me a list of 9 items they were trying to charge me for. Which were bogus or lies. Here are some of them. * GRASS -Said grass wasn't cut, I went the next more and the owner was there and grass did not need cut. I have photos, * Said a broom was left on the porch - Yes, because I the driveway is dirt so I didn't want people looking at the home to track dirt in the house. They stated they REMOVED the broom. That was a lie. I went there next day and the broom was on the porch still. I did not go on the property but someone else did and I took a video of them removing the broom. So saying it was removed was a lie. * Tried to charge me for a toilet holder not on the wall, that had falling off and I reported multiple times but they didn't fix it. * * Tried to 2 blind slits on the floor, I broke one and bought a replacement those were extras I was giving them, because all the blind slats were old and cracking. If you touch them they broke. I did forget to pull a few command hooks off the wall, I offered to go back but was told I couldn't go back it but it wasn't a big deal but they charged me $175 to take them off the wall. I took a picture of every wall, floor, door, ceiling, and appliance before I moved out. I even put a nice door with a code lock on it and left it for them. Beware, they don't fix items, lie in emails and try to charge you for things that were not issues. They even tried to charge me to remove a broom, for extra paint ($100) that I left for them and extra blinds I left for them. BEWARE!!!!!!! You don't want to deal with this company.

From day one, he truly listened to our needs and gave thoughtful recommendations about what would be a good long-term investment versus what might end up being a money pit. He wasn't the type to push for a quick sale--in fact, he pointed out property damage and issues we might've missed on our own, which really built our trust. He stood out among all the other real estate agents we attempted working with. Thanks to his guidance and expertise, we ended up getting our top-choice home in just eight days! The process was seamless from start to finish. Even recently, when we needed to relocate, Peter offered to help us find renters and has continued to be supportive. We'll absolutely be working with him again when it's time to sell. As first time home buyers, we felt we got amazing value for the services provided. Highly recommend Peter and the Red Cedar Real Estate team for anyone looking for a knowledgeable, genuine, and reliable agent.

The best way to describe Peter and Red Cedar is high touch, white glove - concierge service. Peter knew the market and had a powerful team of equally adept realty professionals. Nothing happened without Peter's knowledge and he always focused on what was best for us: Initially meeting through closing. Here's where the professionalism goes to another level - Peter builds relationships with his clients, throws mixers, and checked up on us a couple of times per year. And, he DIDN'T ASK US FOR THE NEXT DEAL each time he subtly checked in on us over 5 years! He and his team cares about you - long term not just to get a sale. After 5 years of relationship building, we called Peter and the Red Cedar team for support. He came over. We completed representation paperwork, his AMAZING 360 degree Ariel and interior video/photography genius turned up and transformed our house into a buyer's beacon that sold our home within 24-48 hours of posting - FULL PRICE OFFER!!!! This is Red Cedar - all day long. After getting an offer, Peter and his team coordinate every document, appointment, and follow-up like a well oiled machine. The signing appointment was completely painless without any hiccups in the paperwork or payout - again, Peter and Red Cedar are professionals and the service providers (Ex. Title Company) were exceptional too. Thanks Peter and Red Cedar for your exemplary support, education, and caring over 5 years!
