Despite the pandemic kicking in right after the sales agreement was signed, Scott kept things moving along to a successful on-time closing on May 1. In terms of details, Scott recommended a good price which was in line with our thoughts, and resulted in a sale just within two weeks of going on the market. His staging team did a good job of helping us clean up the house to appeal to buyers, and the photography did a great job of presenting the home very favorably. We used several recommended professionals from Scott, including the attorney who handled our end of the sale. Overall, Scott provided excellent client service, responding quickly when we had questions, issues, or concerns - even to the point of helping me move a dryer up the basement stairs! I would definitely recommend Scott to anyone looking to sell or buy a home in our area.

I lived on…read moreBroad Street (they own a few others in Westfield as well) for only a year but not even a month of living there, my roommate and I kept finding noticable damage that was covered up with paint (such as electrical outlets) and such. We were almost never able to shower or wash dishes because the laundry room was always in use and drained our water (i had to get a gym membership to use their showers and take my clothes around the corner at the local Laundromat). Constantly having bugs was another issue and we later discovered a few of the other tenants were hoarders and bugs from their apartment trickled down into ours. We tried to call and email both the landlord and the realtor about all these issues but we were constantly ignored. We started to document everything and they still opted to withhold some of our deposit due to the damages we told them about! Horrible and a scam! It's cheap for a reason! Learned my lesson, never doing business with a realtor broker or this establishment again. Save yourself the trouble and do the same unless you have a really good lawyer and lots of money to stop them from taking advantage of others.

What actually was written in the response I received 5 months ago was:…read more Hi Heike, I realize that your review is from quite some time ago, however we don't do much interaction on yelp so unfortunately it went unnoticed by us. I have directly asked all of our existing agents (36 in total) if they dealt with you or your significant other during your apartment search back in 2012 and nobody has any recollection of working with you or receiving a message from you, etc. I am thinking you may have dealt with an agent that no longer works with us for whatever reason or maybe left a message with someone we had temporarily filling in during summer hours. By chance, do you remember who you may have spoken with? I know this is from a long time ago, but I would like to get to the bottom of this. We take great pride in helping people sell, buy and rent and we truly hate that you had such a bad experience with us. Thanks, Janine I didn't respond at the time, not being sure of the name of the person with whom I interacted and deciding that it's actually not my job to investigate. The above is pretty different from telling me that you do not believe I ever interacted with your company. I insist that it was, in fact your company, and reject your claim that I am mistaken in my identification of the issue. If the person with whom my now-husband and I interacted was the owner at that time, then so be it. My husband and I were treated in the aforementioned manner by a male representative of this company, and I wanted to let renters looking for apartments to know that this company was less than interested in helping us. It appears that you have since that time garnered some very positive reviews, and I am glad for that. However, my experience and my opinion still stand.
