Disappointing delivery experience and lack of customer service…read more We purchased an Arhaus Ross 96" Extension Dining Table in Walnut from the Arhaus Hackensack showroom, expecting the quality and service that should come with a premium-priced piece of furniture. Unfortunately, when our table was delivered on the evening of October 12, 2026, by a third-party delivery company, Island Boys Transportation, we discovered several visible scratches on the tabletop. We immediately pointed out the damage to the delivery team. Arhaus Concierge subsequently confirmed in writing that no defects had been noted before the table was picked up, indicating that the damage occurred during transit. I contacted Island Boys requesting a refund of the $275 delivery fee, since the table was damaged during delivery, as well as reimbursement for the professional repair of the tabletop. I provided the details of the situation and requested a response to resolve the matter. Despite reaching out, I have not received a response. It is extremely frustrating to pay a premium price for furniture, pay an additional $275 for delivery, receive a damaged product, and then be left without a response when seeking a reasonable resolution. The issue is not just the damage itself, but the lack of communication and accountability afterward. I am disappointed that I have had to pursue this matter without a response. I hope Island Boys takes this complaint seriously and makes this right by refunding the delivery fee and addressing the cost of repairing the damaged tabletop.

We were very pleased with their service back then and decided to go back to them. Due to rehab work in our family room, we needed to replace the entire carpet again. We visited the store and met with Manny and another very friendly member of their staff. They provided us with some carpet samples to compare at home. We made an appt for Manny to come out and measure which he did within the window he had provided. We chose and ordered our carpet and within a few weeks was ready for installation. The installation crew was friendly and professional and did a very thorough job installing it. The carpet looks great. The crew cleaned up nicely and moved furniture back to its original origin with no issues. Once again, very satisfied with the entire experience. Prices were very reasonable and the store has a tremendous selection to choose from. This mom and pop shop is worth the visit instead of a big commercial chain box store.

We initially went to a big box in Dover, and the salesperson clearly did not know what she was doing, took nearly 3 weeks to give us an estimate, and by that time, their "special discount" had expired. I am remodeling a family owned apartment in Manhattan from scratch…read more I was trying to pick out paint and had been to Benjamin Moore probably ten times. I was at a loss. I contacted Allyson from A and R and she agreed to meet with me in her store and assist me. I brought with me samples of the remodel tiles, fabric samples etc. She spent a good deal of time with me and also showed me a special paint line of BM I didn't even know about. She came up with the perfect colors. Then I was able to go down the street to the paint store she recommended me to to buy samples. I bought the 3 paint colors to NYC today and they were perfect. The furnishings in her store are different and beautiful and I will be back when I am at that point. She is a very talented decorator and very easy to work with as well. So, thanks a million. Best of all, they listened, captured, and implemented our design needs and style. When possible they worked with items currently in our home. Our first project, with A&R, was redecorating a room in which they added to the existing furnishings. The proportions of the furniture are perfect and they knew exactly where to put that special piece. Additionally, A&R has been very helpful with our remodel. Allyson had many great suggestions and assisted in avoiding pitfalls during the construction process. Sometimes it's the small details that really give your home that extra special touch. Communication throughout the process was great. During the design process, we were shown different options both at our home and the A&R showroom and were able to understand how everything would work together. Having an open floor plan, it was important that the colors were able to tie into other rooms. We were updated on manufacturer production schedule, inspection, and delivery. We have been very happy and look forward to using A&R again!

My mother and I went to breakfast one morning and parked in front of Window Trends and decided to stop in. The woman in the store, Liz, was so nice and welcoming. She pulled out books and books to show us every possible option and choice. Without knowing our window dimension she couldn't give us a price, but she did look up the specials the manufacturer was running and even told us about one that didn't start for a month and said they'd be happy to hold an order until then. It was low-pressure and I felt taken care of. The owner came to our house to measure a few days later. Again, he brought books and books of options and colors so I felt I was making an informed decision. We wrote up the order then and paid 50%. When the blinds came in two weeks later, the two young men they sent to install them had all the windows done in an hour: they never stopped moving. They took the time to show us how to use everything and even fave us a few pointer! My mother was so impressed she's planning on replacing her blinds now too with Window Trends.
