So I searched AI for a privately owned, smaller landscaper that knows the communities and can become friends and help us after all the work is done as well. Eastern Cape Landscaping company was the first name on the list. So I called. Nick came out and walked the property with me and basically listened to everything I was throwing at him. I told him I've been planning this in my head for 10 years. What we got was so much more that I dreamt. the work was a lot and took a couple of weeks but every minute was worth it. Neighbors would drive by and keep up with the daily changes. Since they finished, we have had a lot of neighbors come by and tell us how beautiful it is. I go out and walk around the house every day now. Every bit of what we wanted was accomplished. The value far exceeds what we actually paid. There was nothing I asked for that was ignored or not worked Into the plan somehow. The team has two very key qualities that will pay off every time with us (1) listening to their customer and (2) attention to detail. I never heard "no, we can't do that" throughout the entire process. Give them a call and then given them a chance to wow you!

We couldn't be happier with the work that Chris and his team at Sussex Landscaping have done for us. The quality of their work is outstanding, and it's clear they take great pride in what they do. Having recently moved to the area, we were in search of a landscaping company that could help us establish and maintain our new yard. On his first visit, Chris took the time to show us how the irrigation system in our new house worked and made helpful lawn care recommendations. When discussing options for an area to place our gas grill in the backyard, Chris suggested a small paver patio and was able to quickly create a mockup of how the completed project would look. Based on his recommendation, we hired Sussex Landscaping to create the paver patio and it came out great! From start to finish, Chris and his team were professional, reliable, and responsive. They communicated clearly, showed up when they said they would, and paid close attention to the details. They even cleaned our back porch and the gas grill to remove any dust when the project was complete! It was refreshing to work with a team that genuinely cares about delivering great results and making sure their customers are happy. We highly recommend Chris and the entire Sussex Landscaping team to anyone looking for high-quality landscaping work and excellent customer service. They did a fantastic job, and we will continue to use them for all of our landscaping needs! Mark & Theresa Poirier

Renovations in a condo are tricky; there are lots of limitations to what you can do to the structure and building policies to follow. One Call took care of obtaining all the permits and working with the building manager to make sure all of our modifications were by the book; saving us a lot of headaches in the future. My favorite part is the custom built bookcase replacing an old dated iron railing. It looks like a completely different unit, changing our outdated unit into a contemporary home. As an added bonus they came in on time and on budget. We will definitely use them for our kitchen renovation next year!

We purchased a house in Lewes that needed a new roof. The lender and the insurance company wanted…read morethe new roof installed immediately, at soon as the house closed. We live far away so we had to interact with the roofing companies from across the country. The seller's realtor sent a quote. We spoke to the contractor. Just unimpressed. He said we could buy a 1 year guarantee from him, oh on second thought he would throw it in. So we called 4 other roofers for bids. One guy said we can get you a bid in a couple of weeks. Another could give us the bid, and did, about 10 days later. That left us with 2 companies. Bayside Exterior and C&M. The first to get out and do the bid. C&M. The best price for the job. C&M. The most thorough explanation of what was available. C&M. Their bid for the lowest level roof was right in the middle. Their bid for the highest quality roof was close to Bayside's but they gave us a 10 year guarantee. So we signed with them with a little trepidation because you should never use price as the only reason to go with a company. The job they did was fantastic. The whole experience was fantastic. They arrived every day on time, the same guys. It was obvious that it was a construction team and not just some random workers. They cleaned up during and after their work every day. We have had remodeling done three times on our house in CA and every day we had to clean up. Nope never had that problem with C&M. The team was courteous, quiet, considerate, fastidious and they worked hard - all day long. It is a BIG roof. They did the tear down and replacement in 10 days. They did additional repairs & the cost was never a surprise. The quality of the workmanship was outstanding. I have a maintenance company that does work on a monthly basis and they were impressed by the quality of the work and the professional standard of the employees. So much so that they referred some of their customer to C&M. Neighbors came by and they were impressed. I cannot say enough good things about this company and we have done a great deal of remodeling. Was everything perfect? Of course not. My list of gripes? They parked in front of my garage door two times but moved within minutes of me asking. I wanted to pay in full before I left but they would not let me. That was a bit of a headache but their office was as great as their roofers when we had a problem. I hope the guys read this review and know that we have never been happier with a contractor. If only our other jobs had gone so smoothly. And I would post pictures if I was not technically inept. But I would give C&M 6 stars if I could.
