Once in a lifetime trip with Jeremy and PRGS. We had such a great time and caught lots of great fish. I specifically caught the biggest trout of my life on this trip. Jeremy worked hard all day to put us on fish, and he was successful. This is now at minimum an annual trip for us.

I have been fishing with Jeff Harwin and Provo River Guides for many, many years and can say with complete confidence that they are great and you cannot go wrong with them. Every time I use another guide in some other part of the country I hope they will be as good as PRGS, but they never are. The other great thing about PRGS over other guide shops is that every guide at PRGS is great, so you can't go wrong. I have learned over the years that most guide shops have very good guides and not so good guides, so it is somewhat luck of the draw, but with this shop you do not have to worry about it. I have fished with all their guides and they are hands down the best. I have also used PRGS to entertain corporate clients while they are in town and when friends / family are in town. You really cannot go wrong with them as they adapt to each situation. Whether you are taking out someone who has never fished before or a corporate client who you want to show a great time, they adapt and make the trip perfect for each situation. Also, if you are an experienced angler they know many hidden gems that are in the area, so take advantage of that if you want a once in a lifetime outing. All in all, good guys who know how and where to fish and how to make a memorable experience. And yes, the photo is of a fish I caught with PRGS, one of many!

If you're looking for an experience in Park City that combines delectable eats and a pretty, witty,…read moreknowledgable host--Park City Food Tours will surpass your expectations. ***Spoiler Alert*** I won't give you all the details, but here's a taste, pun intended. Our first restaurant stop was Flanagan's. Having visited Ireland previously versus the typical Irish pubs here in the states, wow. I dined while a portrait of Father Flanagan loomed over our table and I was taken back to the Emerald Isle with a tasty stew served with a side of you guessed it, potatoes. They made my mouth water for more. Learning about the impact Father Flanagan made on the area was a bonus and I will definitely return to his namesake pub. Another intriguing restaurant stop, River Horse. The ambiance was matched by the amazing dinner. I don't say amazing lightly, this was a saffron explosion for my taste buds. For each tour the Chef prepares a special meal at his whim, he makes each different depending on his mood and I'm pretty sure he must have had the best day of his life. I've never had a better meal. Cliff notes: This is a summary of just two out of six stops for our tour. If you eat food like the rest of us, you need to do yourself a favor and call Shirin. You'll be informed about Park City's silver beginnings and blown away by the variety of delicious food Main Street has to offer.

One of the best activities in Park City. Was there this August (thought i had already written this…read morereview) and looked for some fun activities. It was my daughter who found Park City Food Tours. It was great. Shirin took us around. She is knows so much about the city, and her love for it comes through when she talks about it. Depending on the day of the week you decide to go, the price and type of restaurant (casual, elegant, etc) changes. We went on a Tuesday evening, casual night, but the restaurants were a great mix, they didn't seem to be all casual. Food was very good, the people on the tour with us were very friendly. One of the restaurants, a sushi restaurant, prepared a special meal for us. It was great and money well spent.

Such an awesome experience! Staff was so friendly and…read morewelcoming and excited to help us get excited. Our zip guide's name was Taylor and she was incredible. So upbeat, helpful, personable and kind. Not to mention knowledgeable!! It was awesome to watch her hook herself up to the zipline behind us and fly down on her own. It was comforting to have someone so experienced. Would do it again in a heartbeat! I highly recommend the epic tour. Totally worth the extra money to fly down from the TOP OF THE MOUNTAIN.

The Canyons Resort has opened a Zip Line that is hands down the best one up in Park City!!!…read more The Red Pine Zip Tour adventure is a thrill, you start your adventure at the bottom of the ski resort, buy your ticket in the sports shop at the base and ride up in an enclosed gondola that seats 4 comfortable and maybe 6 in the winter. Great views, and then get off at mid- mountain to meet your guide. After signing your life away on a simple form you get outfitted with your harness, helmut and zip line back pack. Quick walk to the training center, which is a mini zip line that is about 20 feet long and 10 feet off the ground. You learn how to hold on, go fast, slow down and stop. Then down you go. Pretty simple. Then a short walk to the Red Pine Zip Line for two rides. After being hooked up, you and a friend race down a real zip line. This time it's long high and a bit scary, well not really, well kinda ..but boy is it a thrill. Your $20 gets you two rides and that's enough for many. BUT for $25 dollars more you get the deluxe package which gets you a ride on the LOOK OUT ZIP LINE. Yeah it's a bit pricer, but worth it! The Red Pines is similar to the Park City Resort Zip Line but the LOOK OUT is the big one up here, and worth the price. You and your guide take a short hike down a path and climb on the SHORT CUT ski lift and ride up to the other zip line. This time you are going to be really high, and going to go really fast our guide said 25 vs 40mph and your going 2200 feet vs 880 feet. I must admit is was a lot scary than the first one. My teenagers loved it, I kinda closed my eyes for part of it. Hard to admit. But had to open them up as I needed to watch the guide's instructions to slow down and stop. You control how fast and how slow you go. They have a back up safety way to stop if your a total Spaz, which I was not. Short walk back to the mid-mountain which has a restaurant for lunch or snacks and then nice ride back down the gondola. This is a great adventure. I think you need to be 10 or older, weigh between 50-260lbs and be taller than 48 inches to ride. Our guide says they are open in the winter and that when it is snowing this it is really a great ride. I think I will be down skiing but it is a great option for someone who doesn't ski or snowboard, as you can get up the mountain and will get a both a scenic view of the mountains and the action below.

We had a great time!…read more First and foremost dress for the weather and most definitely wear snow boots. The ground is icy and slushy and uneven. I even suggest wool socks to keep your toes warm. Snow pants are also ideal too if have them. We went at 4:30pm so we got to see the ice castles both during the day and at night as the sun went down around 5:45/6pm. By 6pm it was getting very crowded and hard to walk through but it was so fun seeing it all lit up. We did the sleigh ride. Our driver was excellent! He was very informative and told funny jokes. I forgot his name but he made the freezing cold sleigh ride a lot more fun! I didn't realize that the sleigh ride had lights throughout so we barely got to see those since it was still light out. But it was still neat. We paid for the souvenir photo and you get one printed out, and the others emailed to you. They have a small gift shop at the end and to be honest I wish they had one at the front selling the hand warmers because I would have bought some! But having them available for purchase at the end wasn't helpful in my opinion. They had a small stand for hot cocoa and bite sized goodies to snack on, but because it was the only place to purchase the lines were awfully long. I would suggest opening another food truck up or something to encourage more people to purchase. I would have loved a hot cocoa to stay warm. They had a few small propane fire pits throughout to stand and warm up. They had a few ice slides for the kids to go on and one for adults too. That was neat. There were several ice tunnels to walk through and they get crowded. It would be nice if they had them going one way routes because they tended to get backed up with people trying to get through in the opposite direction. There were ice sculptures like a unicorn and a throne. There are trivial facts throughout that inform you of how the ice castles are made, how many artisans it takes to make them, how many pounds of ice, etc. Overall we really enjoyed the experience. I'd love to go again, but I also think it could be a do once experience.
