She helped me figure out how to get the lowest rate, dealt with the a-hole car dealership, and was professional as well as kind. Don't be put off by the fact that they're in Norwood: it's 20 minutes on the commuter rail at the Norwood Depot stop on the Franklin line (didn't have the car yet when we went to see her!). As a side note, I also called Liberty Mutual and was not only put off by the sleazy insurance salesman, but they quoted me almost $900 more than Dempsey!

He also provided advice on vehicle registration, and explained patiently differences between insurances from different states. A month ago we moved to Europe and I needed a letter of experience to show insurers here that I have many years of driving experience without accidents. Although I was not his client anymore, Frank contacted previous agents to make sure I had a complete record (not only the last five years) to be able to get the best deal. We moved out of state and requested cancellation of our policy, providing our vehicle registration cancellation form, but were still charged monthly. After discovering this, we provided all the information Frank requested and were told the backdating process could take several weeks to months. When we simply asked why the process would take so long and requested written confirmation of the cancellation so we could be sure we would not continue being charged, Frank responded with lengthy, defensive messages and told us to "feel free to report him" if we were unhappy. We found the response unnecessarily confrontational and accusatory for what we felt was a straightforward customer service question.

After he spoke with the opposing insurance company it was clear he knew they were trying to just get some free money. After not hearing from him I called, Carol answered and did her best to help me because it seems Robert is not available and this is a common theme with this guy being absent.
