As an owner of a small business I cant' say enough good about how easy they are to work with. I can do most of my banking without ever entering the bank and when I need something, a quick phone call or email to one of a small number of first-name-basis individuals gets it taken care of. That alone is enough to get them the 5 stars. But even better, when my personal account was recently hacked (by an outside party who was arrested within 24 hours) they really stepped it up, immediately blocking outside access, dealing with over 20 false debits, getting every one of them reversed within days and opening a new account for me. All I had to do was sign, they even filled out the forms for me and emailed them. Best bank I've ever had in 30 years owning and managing businesses.

I have had my account for 15 years and never had a check bounce in or out of the account. My boss told me this morning the check had already cleared! They place holds on your money for arbitrary amounts so they can make interest on it for a week. This is indicative of how you will be treated as a customer at Altura. Yesterday it took me 8 MINUTES to deposit this check standing in front of the teller. The entire time she has her face buried in the screen. Plenty of time to tell me you are placing a ridiculous hold on my paycheck. But I don't rate as a customer enough to receive THAT information.
