My aunt lives in Arlington and decided to put her home on the market. She asked if I could help…read moreher locate a real estate agent. I made contact with one of the major agency in Arlington and we talked about what this would entail. The agent told me with the way the economy was and the housing market being somewhat depressed that we need to price the house below market value and be prepared for it to be on the market somewhere between 60 and 90 days. The day we were to meet with the agent and sign the contract, my aunt call me and said she had heard of a company called the Real Estate Connection owned by Sharon Carman who had sold a home in two days. Without any further discussion my aunt decided we should use Sharon. We met with Sharon and signed the contract. I was thinking to myself that there is no way you can sell a house in two days. Well I was right she didn't sell it in two days, it took a four whole days to sell the house. Not only that but we received full asking price. Sharon has a different approach in selling a home. It's something unique in today's business world. It's called customer service. It was about as stress free experience as you can have selling a home. She staged the home so that it would show better, she located and negotiated with contractors to take care of what repairs that were needed and assisted us with any and all issues in the selling of a home. We could not have asked for a better experience. Her entire staff was thoughtful, sincere and willing to serve. It was more like having a concierge than a real estate agent.
