As a family that was involved with Providence Academy for 10 years, we are very disappointed at the school we loved. No longer a safe place for children. With no published volunteer policy, our child was taken out of childcare without our permission. She was missing for an hour. Administration seemed unconcerned and no policy has ever been published. We pulled our younger child and administration forced us to pull our high school student. This is no longer a Christ-centered school, they are more worried about money and enrollment. read more

We have two children in the grammar school here, and we can't say enough good things about this school. All the faculty love learning and encourage our children's curiosity. They expose them to the best literature and art, even at such a young age. They memorize lots of Scripture and actually discuss the passages and how to apply them...They learn to admire good and beautiful aspects of all they are learning, be it lovely words to one of many songs they memorize, or the amazing complexity and order of mathematics, via a more conceptual focus as opposed to strictly rote. I could go on and on, but I must mention their buddy system. Each younger child, preK-6th grade student is paired with a 7th-12th grade buddy to accompany them at assemblies, all school field trips, special lunches, etc., and my little girls have so adored their "big sister" type buddies. My kindergartener regularly had her 7th grade buddy play with her at recess! It warms my heart. I can't wait to send our third daughter here next year...and to have my girls stay here through 12th grade with the same classmates. We are so blessed to be part of this school community! read more
