La Petite is an amazing school! My daughter attended as infant and toddler. The staff is helpful,…read morecaring and attentive. They are like second parents for my daughter, they love and care for her and she loves going to school everyday. They really helped this single first time mom feel good. The facility is very well maintained and safe. They always follow safety guidelines and procedures. They recently remodeled and have updated flooring and carpet. I would recommend them to anyone looking for safe and reliable child care for all ages.

My older daughter now attends elementary school and still loves to come visit and gets excited for breaks when she comes to see her friends and the staff here. My younger daughter is currently in our toddler program and loves her teachers. She has grown so much and hit ALL of her developmental milestones thanks to the amazing teachers that care for her. She talks in sentences ( with minimal babble), knows all of her friends and teachers names and can count. She already recognizes most of her colors. She is preparing to move to our twos class and I know she will do great because the teachers have done so great at preparing her for the next class. The other teachers are also great and you can tell they truly care for the children in their care. The director is often seen around the school interacting with families and helping children. I am so glad I found this school and even more glad that I get to be a part of it.

If you are looking for a preschool, you must put Lab School on your list…read more I am blessed to teach music at this amazing school that is so supportive of the music program. We get to sing and move and groove to the music as we explore the beat with streamers, scarves, bells, drums, etc. We even use some early orff instruments. We offer and believe in the benefits and many gifts of music. Educationally, the Lab School provides a wonderful learning environment. There is an atmosphere of caring love and energy. They believe in the unique worth of each child while also teaching respect for others and encouraging social development. The children are happy. It is play-based learning -constructivism. No worksheets or rote learning or color-by-number. I'm always impressed by the wonderful staff and the families who care enough to choose to come to this school. The longevity of the teachers and the fact that some families are 3rd generation Lab School attendees speaks volumes.

We really wanted to love the Lab School but unfortunately it was not a good experience for us…read more - Very rude, condescending, and cold Preschool Director whom comes off as micromanaging to her staff - Small classrooms but large class sizes. 16-18 students with 2 teachers. - I would not recommend this school for any child that does not meet the basic, ideal mold of a child. - Very little diversity overall -Preschool should be fun and this is a stuffy environment I never write these reviews but I want to save the next parent from the tears and stress that our family went through.
