Fabulous deli. A place in Perth where you can get stuff you can normally only find in big cities.

They're open Wednesday through Sunday from 12 noon to 9pm, with the evening restaurant open from 5pm. They do a Thursday lunch deal from 12-4pm where you can get 2 courses for £5.95; there's also a Sunday roast special at £6.50. On a Friday evening, we found it rather quiet with only one other table being occupied. Still, this did mean that the service was very efficient and it came with a bit of friendly banter too. The menu selection is a bit limited - it's basically pub food but prepared very well. We opted for the fish and chips (it was that or the scampi as neither of us eat meat). It arrived with a side of some baby carrots and peas, and the fish was in a gluten-free batter and with home-made tartare sauce. Certainly very tasty and it did the job as far as feeding us went. If the menu had been a bit more extensive and adventurous, I'd give this place more stars. I certainly have no complaints about the standard of the food and I hope they do well in future, but I think they'll need to stretch themselves a little if they want to develop a regular clientèle.
