This is just addressing the review from Peter S. We tried to sell him all new batteries as his entire bank was old and not in good condition. He wanted to only purchase a new one to replace the one battery that was completely junk. Which when you add a new battery to old batteries it brings the new batteries voltage down to that of the others. We had even transported his batteries out to a dealer to be checked for no charge. Also charge controllers do not drain batteries. The fact that they froze was because they were in such poor condition and were not replaced, as recommended. read more

Nice guy trying to keep his business open post COVID. he sold and installed a new collector, charge controller and inverter last year. He had me get a new battery which he added to complete my bank of 4. THE BATTERIES FROZE . My replacement cost is over 1700. no other solutions were offered. My previous set lasted 20 years w no freeze. I think the new charge controller drained the batterys but can't prove it as I'm not an electrical engineer. read more
