They are still the Best !!! Currently living out of town, yet stopped in for a repair: busted dropper post cable. They fixed it right on the spot (15 mins) knowing I was passing through. Greatly appreciate them. Friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. When I was living in FoCo this was my #1 bike shop and glad to see they still are the #1 in town !! Thanks proVelo read more

Great service and profession sales. Bought an Aventon e-bike and love it. Great service.

Got a tune up from proVelo. Bike feels fantastic and it was cleaned immaculately. Plus it was done before the initial estimate. Was not cheap but well worth it. Everyone I interacted with pleasant in professional. read more

I'm from out of town. Found out I had a problem with hydro brakes on my gravel bike. Road trip from sea level and the jarring from bike rack possibly caused Issues. Anyway, went to couple bike shops who either didn't have bleed kit or were unable to take a look at it. These guys said bring it in. He bled it, fixed the problem within minutes. Quality shop with knowledgeable staff great customer service. Period. When I'm in this area, only 1 shop I will go to. read more

I had been eyeing a gravel bike for some time and needed experts to help me sort out all the options and pick what works for me. The knowledge blew me away! My new bike fits me to a tee, and my first ride felt like I had been on it all season already. Buy local from the experts :) read more

I can't say enough about this place. Great bikes to rent and ride, great staff full of knowledge and they enjoy talking about riding. They know all the local (Colorado) trails and will talk stories of great rides. I will come back time and time again. read more

Was referred to proVelo by a neighbor and was not disappointed at all. Even with reduced hours currently they were able to get my bike in and actually had parts in stock. Staff was awesome, explained exactly what was broken on the bike and offered several options. Bike now shifts correctly and planning my next upgrade now through this team. Extremely happy with the work, time, and low cost and will now be referring all my friends! Thanks! read more

Rude! We were so ready to buy a bike. They didn't even acknowledge our presence. After waiting patiently outside and being ignored we left.

Terrible customer service! These guys are always too stressed out to handle anything. Their mechanics are ill prepared and lacking skill. I was overcharged on three occasions. I DO NOT recommend this shop! read more

I had an amazing experience with the proVelo staff at today's McKee Classic Bicycle Tour ride. The guy at the aid station (at the proVelo tent) was friendly and helped me get my front derailleur figured out in a matter of minutes. The rest of the ride continued without a hitch. I think I'm going to carve his likeness in a large block of butter and call it, "Mr. McFixit Buttah-hands" My sincerest thanks! read more

Love this shop! I like 4 hours away, don't have a bike shop where I am from. So every time I come down this way I stop in. Couple years back Chris did my bike fitting and recommended a new front end. Life got in the way, I emailed him asking if I could drop my bike off Friday or Saturday to get that new front end. He happily accommodated. I called on my way down because we hit bad weather and Amanda let me know they would be in the shop closing up if I was a little after 6 and they would keep an eye out for me. I arrived in town 6minutes because they closed and they got me right in. Even though I opted out of a new wireless bike computer they didn't change their attitude towards me!! I just LOOVE this place! I am an Athena Triathlete (female over 165lbs) they don't treat me like I am fat. They treat me like a triathlete!! read more

Decent shop, but the employees are major dickheads. I've purchased 3 bikes from them and they seem annoyed whenever I come in for a question or technical issue. They also sold me a mountain bike that was too small for me, causing me to lose a bunch of money in the process (had to sell it and buy a larger frame size). I would avoid this place as all they care about is money, not the customer. read more

Literally the best shop in town. Best selection, service, and knowledgeable peeps! Wouldn't go anywhere else.

I've made several visits to proVelo recently, and have been very pleased with the service I've received. I wish I had the name of the gentleman that helped me, but everyone there that I've worked with has been super helpful in offering advice and helping me get my new (used) bike dialed in. Even though I didn't purchase the bike through them, they've still been happy to assist me in getting things dialed, which is awesome. I'll be back for more accessories and service in the future for sure! read more

I was mountain biking in a remote area and ran into a problem. After spending some time on the phone with me Max encouraged me to come on in. I made the 194 mile drive to the shop and my bike got immediate attention when I arrived. Before long I was back on the road. The final bill was higher than discussed and the resolution offered by management was more than fair, in my opinion, and I Ieft the shop ready for more trail riding. I wouldn't hesitate to use this shop again. read more

Remember the days of the neighborhood bike shop where the staff were passionate cyclists themselves. Where they treated customers like neighbors and would go out of the way to ensure you're being helped right, sold the right goods and sometimes even lending a hand without a charge? Well, ProVelo is this place. I would say they lean more towards the Mountain Bike crowd, but still sell all forms of cycling goods and bikes. read more

First time customer with proVelo. Very happy with the repairs and customer service on my Cannondale Headshock. I will definitely be returning for any bicycle tuneup and repairs. Also their prices are very reasonable. Jason read more

My experiences over the past 4 years with the staff at ProVelo have been nothing less than stellar. The core team of guys: Greg, Chris, Travis and Morgan have been incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about everything from a new Cannondale road bike purchase, to tire selection for Enduro racing. Their selection of inventory is excellent: boutique brands and high-profile equipment that lasts and that they repair when the time comes. Roadies, townies, cross-country racers, fat bikers, enduro riders, and new cyclists are all welcome at ProVelo. Their staff is proficient because they ride and enjoy cycling right along with their customers. ProVelo is best bike shop in town: close to trails, great hours, paired with great customer service and mechanical expertise. I keep coming back because you support local teams and give back to your customer base. Thank you! read more

Haven't bought a bike yet from Greg but I certainly would or will. Greg is a trustworthy guy with high character and very honest. Go with Provelo if you are looking. read more

We are from Arizona and are spending some time in Fort Collins. We ride road and mountain bikes and needed to find a good local bike shop for some adjustments and parts while we are here. This is an excellent bike shop with a staff that makes you feel welcome from the moment you step inside the door. Note that we have been cycling for over 30 years and have been in too many bike shops to count. A bike shop is only as good as the people that work there. The people here are very friendly and have the technical skills and the people skills to do a good job for you. Bottom line- this is my go to shop while we are in Fort Collins. read more

This place is awesome! We had heard from a few friends how nice and helpful everyone is and it's true! Just took my bike in for a few adjustments and Nick did everything in like 15minutes. I really appreciate when a specialty sports store isn't snobbish. We are customers for life! Thank you! read more

Great shop, great service, great prices. I highly recommend it to anyone from beginner to advanced, though I miss when their location was closer to old town. Worth the drive though. read more

These guys are really awesome! I brought my bike in and they helped tune it up after a previous shop did a poor job on it. proVelo did an outstanding job of tuning my bike. Not only that, but they went above and beyond to repair some work that was done improperly by the previous bike shop. They did the extra work for FREE! That was awesome. And they took the time to explain everything to me. Thanks!! read more

All-time favorite bike shop, most professional I've ever been into. Even since relocating to Denver I still take my bikes to them.

Great shop great staff. We live in Denver but love pro Velo. Worth the drive for the knowledgeable staff, great inventory and low-pressure sales staff. read more

This is such a great bike shop! I bought shoes and pedals for my bike here and was very happy with them. The next time I came in, they remembered my name and asked about the pedals as well! Great, great customer service. read more

Today was the third time visiting this bike store. I get an overwhelming feeling of confidence with these guys, they really do know what they are talking about. Till now I had been using another bike store in town only because it was close to my home but really they were 3rd class. They never had stuff in stock I was wishing to buy, there is zero consistency with the knowledge and professionalism of their staff. A couple of times they had worked on my road bike and messed something up forcing me to return to my beloved University Cycles in Boulder. But now I have found ProVelo in Ft C, Im a happy bunny. These guys understand my budget restrictions and work with me all the way. Im super happy with ProVelo. Jo Fo read more

Greg and his staff are best in the business up here in Northern Colorado. I have always received great service from everyone at ProVelo and I highly recommend this shop. read more

This place is awesome! I bought my bike here about 3 years ago now and I always go back to get it worked on. They do a great job, are very friendly and willing to answer questions, and the prices are totally reasonable. Also they are next to a really good brewery which helps - you can have a beer while you wait :) read more

I had taken my MTB in to a few smaller local shops for a tune with mixed results. I just started to assume that the bike shops in town were all staffed with arrogant, pretentious hipsters. I was wrong! Took my bike to get a tune at Provelo, best tune I ever received, bike was like new again. When it was time to purchase another MTB, I knew where to go. I'm a pretty tall guy, they took the time to measure me and the bike and get me set up right. They even ordered a new stem at no charge to ensure the perfect fit. The bike came with three free tune ups and free adjustments for six months. Couldn't be happier. read more
