Throughout the years, I have owned many cars and consider window tinting a "necessity." Every can I have owned have had its windows tinted but this is the first time I have used this company. I tell you what, from this point forth, I don't think I will be using any other company but Protint. These folks are the definition of true professionals! The job was done quickly and perfectly. Not a single air bubble to be found anywhere nor a mess of tint shavings left in the car for the owner to vacuum after the vehicle is picked up (yep, that did happen to me at another window tinting company). So i've been having Clear Bras installed by ProTint for many years and have found their work to be fantastic. It's never cheap to do something preventative and this is no exception but, the level of care and quality of work has always been exceptional, prices more than fair and the product very effective. Of course you'd have to live in dreamland to think your car wouldn't be hit by rocks, grit, debris... on the gravel truck infested roads of Colorado so, I promise you will be hit and damage will occur. But a clear bra decreases the damage and pays for itself many times over. Highly recommended! read more

I have one word to describe Pro-Tint Inc. in Lakewood, Colorado and that is outstanding. My wife and I took two of our Mazda 5's into Pro-Tint to have them tinted by Kim and Galen (this is one of the nicest couples in business that I have ever met). They welcomed us with a friendly hello and walked us through all of our tinting options (trust their advice and go with medium, it looks fantastic!). My mom had just gotten her windows tinted the week before by Kim and Galen so we knew they were going to do a terrific job. Kim let us borrow one of their trucks to take it to Colorado Mills Mall so we could enjoy a nice lunch and shopping while they worked on our cars. It was very sweet of them and we had a nice birthday lunch for my wife while they worked on the windows. We came back 2.5 hours later and both cars were done to perfection. The tint job that they did on our cars was vastly superior to anything I have ever gotten at a dealership. To make the situation even better, Kim and Galen gave us a lifetime warranty for both vehicles. Kim and Galen will be the only ones to work on future cars that I get! They delivered on time, on the price they quoted over the phone and delivered an outstanding product and service to us. I stumbled on this location by coincidence and needed to have the windows tinted on my Silverado truck while I was traveling through Denver. My next stop was Las Vegas and the sun beating through my windows has been miserable. I was treated like family and they did a fantastic job. I researched tint shops in Denver and found that Kim & Galen's shop has been in business for a very long time. They also own the business, and do the work themselves. No teenagers doing the real work. I have one friend who has used them for at least 4 vehicles and recommended that I use them. My car is a W211 Mercedes AMG model, but don't get me wrong, I'm not rich and it took me a very long time to get that car. Kim and Galen were very nice and professional, I scheduled my first appointment and drove to lakewood from Basalt CO, about 3 hours away. They tinted my car in under 2 hours, including the windshield "strip" at the top. It looked foggy and had some water bubbles, which they assured me would disappear during "curing" in the next few days. A week later I decided to go over the car and noticed that the bubbles had not disappeared from the rear 1/4 windows and the large back window. Also the mercedes comes with a "dot matrix" around the glass edges, which did not adhere at all, leaving shiny silver edges that were very noticeable. The last thing I noticed was the windshield strip had been installed 1" lower on one the left than the right. I called Galen, they offer a lifetime satisfaction guarantee. I was rescheduled for a few weeks later, which was fine, and another trip to Denver to make it right was ok with me. When I arrived they told me the back windows were contaminated during install, and apologized for that and the offset window strip. They replaced the 1/4 windows tint, the strip at the front, and the rear window tint. They had to use steam to remove it all, but also used razors. They did a perfect job on the front strip, using a product called "magoops" that fills in the dot matrix, the "silver area" was now gone at the edges. They did a great job on the 1/4 windows, but to make the edges of those windows show no light, they used a sharpie paint pen to trace the edges, which was very visible. There are now permanent sharpie paint pen markings on the inside window rubber seal that were drawn without much attention to detail. So far, I could live with it, that is until the back window. Immediately after completion the back looked incredible. Perfect in every way and no bubbles whatsoever. Three days later the "water" that needed to evaporate from the install was gone, which revealed a two foot long very deep scratch in the rear window caused by the removal of the first tint that was contaminated. The rear defogger was cut in two locations from the single scratch. I called Galen right away and told him. I sent him photos also. He told me that I was a scammer trying to make him pay for a new window, and accused me of making the scratch. I carefully peeled back a 1" square portion of tint directly over the scratch. The tint was not cut, meaning the scratch was only on the glass not the tint. The scratch could only have been put there during installation. I have before and after photos which prove that this scratch did not exist until the last time they touched the window. It just so happens that this rear window is nearly 2000$. I can not afford this. I also paid Kim and Galen over 300$ to ruin my window. For the next 5 weeks neither Kim nor Galen would answer any phone call from me, and they would not return any of the messages I had left. I threatened to take them to court over the matter, telling them this in a message, which is also mostly a major energy waste on my part, and in reality I would not do this. After two months Galen refunded me less than half of the money I paid to him. At this point I am out of energy and do not believe they will do anything more to make it right. I will pay a company near me about 300$ to remove and install new rear window tint (yes just one window) with a guarantee of no damage. And I will pay another glass company 150$ to apply a resin to the glass scratch during the tint process, and polish as much of the deep scratch out as possible. This will make my total cost for the full tint out of pocket almost 700$, and this scratch will only be fixed in a low quality manner. I would not recommend any person to Pro Tint on W. Colfax. Kim and Galen put on a great show, but are very bad at what they do. I wish I had never wanted tint in the first place, this experience has taught me the value of a dealerships accountability. So much for the "lifetime warranty" which apparently does not apply to me. Also, upon further inspection I found very light scratches on the outside of the car tracing almost every window. I'm assuming this is where they initially cut the shape after shrinking the tint. read more

Love Kim and Galen! My husband has gone to them for years and I've brought my last two cars to have the windows tinted. I'll never go anywhere else! I had the driver and passenger side windows tinted on my 2016 Ford Explorer and a clear bra put on the back bumper and it only took 45 minutes and came out flawlessly. Both Kim and Galen are extremely friendly and they run their business well! If you need windows tinted this is the place to go! Five stars!! read more
