I had a bizarre situation where the bottom few layers of concrete blocks on the exterior of my…read moregarage were disintegrating to concrete dust. It was very alarming... I had a few different people come out to look at it only to be extremely baffled and offer no solution. It continued to get worse. I was literally sweeping up pales of concrete sand every month.. situation was getting dire. I didn't know if my house was unstable and I imagined it was going to cost a fortune to fix. That's when I randomly connected with Adam Case on Yelp. He reached out, and was at my house later that day. He was very personable and, after talking with him for a couple minutes, it was apparent he was very knowledgeable. Although my situation was extremely unique, he had worked up a plan within minutes to repair and stabilize the wall. He came back out within a week and had it fixed up at a very fair price! A huge weight off my shoulders. I recommend Adam Case Concrete to anyone and everyone and I will be contracting him again for future concrete work, no doubt!

He also kept us posted regarding where things were in the permitting process for our project. Also, when he says he will be at your home at a certain time, he arrives as indicated which is unusual today. I hired Marcus and his team to do a total driveway removal and replacement with a new cement culvert pipe installed. The new driveway was 22' wide x 53' long, with a 6' wide x 18' long walkway to the front door. I cannot say how pleased we were with the turnaround on this project: Monday - old driveway and culvert were removed and new cement culvert pipe installed; Tuesday - inspection of the new culvert pipe; Wednesday morning - they were at our home at 6:30am backfilling the new culvert pipe. Form boards were installed, and the cement trucks pulled in at 9am. Driveway and walkway was poured and leveled with the project being completed by around 2-3pm that day. So, three days to do the whole project. Pretty impressive.

My yard is ruined. It has many bumps and holes because they did not level it after laying the new grass. Actually the so called new grass was already old and ready to die before they even laid it. The yard is very uneven and hard to mow. Your team is not top notch. If anyone is reading this remember you really do not know who has written the recent reviews that show nothing but excellent work. None of it is true. This is a company that does not care how the lawn looks, they take your money and run. I have tried to find them but they keep putting different addresses of where they live, so you are not able to ask them questions about why they left the lawn in bad shape. Please DO NOT HIRE this company. There is no value in hiring someone who does what they want and not what the owner requests.

The contract including Sealing the pavers to prevent future weeds from coming through. A few days after the pavers were laid down, I called Dan to ask sealent, he sounded agitated that I called and he gave me a BS excuse that pavers had to cure for 2 weeks before sealant is applied... that was the last I seen or heard from Dan and that was 2 years ago. Now, there are weeds growing everywhere through the pavers. I sincerely doubt Dan will make good with the agreed requirements of the contract so at this point, all I can do is share this review of Dan and Preferred Pools and Pavers. I paid over 7400 for shitty job, and on top of the poor work, he stole nearly $1000 worth of paver brick I paid for that was remaining. I my opinion, Dan is a scumbag and he appears that way when you meet him, I just did not trust my own instincts. If you do decide to do business with him, just know that he will rip you off.
