The store space is cute with tables for dining in. The highlight of Hummingbird items is clearly (to me) their ingredients. The menu seems fresh and full of high end ingredients for really high quality food and smoothies. The portion sizes are reasonable and healthy, not gargantuan and there are likely people who do not consider this spot in their budget and that is ok. I do believe you get your money's worth here, and the quality was so good. I ordered an Oat Chada Lada smoothie and an Art Cheesian panini. For how many people were at the grand opening, and considering none of these staff had ever worked this particular menu with the public (only in training so far), I was very impressed with the experience. The Oat Chada Lada tastes a lot like banana bread and was really delicious. The best part is that it wasn't overly sweet but didn't taste chalky like protein smoothies can. The panini was amazing, the sourdough bread was toasted crispy and I loved the sweeter flavors. I did spend $30 for just these two items for only myself for lunch, which is pricey.
