But to get customers in, they really should stock the produce department, the dairy department and the grocery department. Today 12/29/25, the produce department was empty at 10:00AM. No lettuce, No celery, No kale, No pre-washed lettuce or salads. Sprouts is the only store that carrier a certain non dairy coffee creamer. Usually, I buy 3 when I go in. Today, they had 1 in stock. If this Sprouts was truly a "Farmers Market", I'd worry about the farmer. Truly a disappointment.

I explained to them that they want to buy the Wormwood that has been stripped of thujone, because thujone is a psychoactive naturally-occurring ingredient. Which causes anxiety. Thujone is in absinthe. As in early European Bohemian 19th century artists going insane. Because I mentioned that I had also taken one (literally I did say "one") Allopurinol, she mentally discarded my notes also. You could almost see it go in one ear and out the other. I full expect them to go out and buy the wormwood oil tincture without the thujone removed EVEN THOUGH thujone-removal is an option in their industry. Except for this know-it-all attitude, they are otherwise pretty good, and definitely the only local option besides Gator Nutrition.

It did not take long to notice the severely overpriced items. The meat section was not big and there was not much to select from. There was not much we were impressed with throughout the aisles but when we arrived at end of our browsing, we wound up in the bakery and deli section. That is where I shopped! I found a bleu cheese that is difficult to find. I picked up a premade chicken salad sandwich on a croissant, which was so delicious! It tasted fresh and pure. We checked out after that and the cashier was not enthusiastic. That's okay, they were not rude either. I wound up spending more than I wanted to. Especially the seafood section! I stopped to get some Mineral water in the glass bottle & they had Swordfish on sale for $2.75 a pound! Really nice wild caught thick swordfish. Moi bought eleven pounds of Swordfish for moi fresh lemon & bay leaf kabobs. They were Magnificent. Arrrr! OuiOui :).... The Italian mineral water in the glass bottles are also fabulous. Upon entering, I was so shocked to see the store was smaller in size than I imagined. I cannot even recall if I have been to a Sprouts location prior to this visit. I arrived around 5pm on a Friday. Surprisingly, the store was not busy or crowded. I was also surprised to notice many of the customers were older. I decided to browse aisle by aisle since this was my first time visiting. I picked up some items that were on BOGO, which I had previously planned to possible purchase because I have an existing Sprouts account. I love that there were samples in wellness aisles and you were limited to 2 per individual. When I was browsing the beverages, I noticed a can was almost 2 months expired. I usually see this at Publix but did not expect here. The more customers coming in as I shopped and I noticed some of the aisles were really narrow so it was difficult to shop and browse. This shortened the remainder of my visit. The bakery section had an abundance of assorted items and many on clearance due to expiration. I was sad that many of the vegan refrigerated foods were out of stock and not a lot of vegan prepared foods, which I was shocked about. Next and last task: checking out. I decided to do the self checkout and was offered assistance several times by employees, which I also declined. Maybe they receive a commission if they check a customer out or something? This is a locally owned small business that has just moved to this location & space. Formally just a supplements store, it's now a full blown organic market/grocery with a excellent organic cafe, offering locally grown produce as well! The only other cafe that can even compare to this one is in NYC, and this one blows that one away. Hubby & I both wish we lived in walking/biking distance to this gorgeous little market.
