He constantly kept me informed step by step where we were in the legal process. He always addressed all my questions and/or concerns in a timely manner. Going through a lawsuit is very stressful but Jonathan kept me motivated and focused on our main goal. He genuinely had my best interest in mind. At the end of the day he ultimately let me decide if we should settle or go to trial. He explained the pros and cons to both and never pressured me to do one over the other. I'm happy with the results and have no doubt without Jonathan my settlement wouldn't have been possible. I'm so thankful to have met him and the all the people in his firm that fought so hard for me. He literally changed my life. My family and I are a lot more financially comfortable now because of him. I'm forever grateful to Jonathan Lacour.

They went above and beyond to ensure that justice was served in my employment case, and I felt supported every step of the way. The entire team is spectacular. It is a well-oiled machine where everyone knows their role and executes it perfectly. Miguel, in particular, is an incredible asset to the team. His knowledge is extensive, but what truly sets him apart is his dedication. Despite a busy schedule, he always took the time to answer my calls. If he didn't have an answer immediately, he was honest about it, found the information, and always followed up exactly when he said he would. That level of reliability and communication is rare and brought so much value to my experience. If you are looking for a team that is professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely cares about your outcome, look no further. I give them my highest possible recommendation!

However, the intake conversation was unnecessarily dismissive and adversarial from the start. I was repeatedly interrupted, spoken over, and not given a fair opportunity to explain the specifics and context of my situation before assumptions were made. What I found especially inappropriate was the implication that I was being dishonest simply because my experience did not immediately fit a predetermined narrative. People seeking legal guidance during difficult employment situations deserve to be treated with professionalism and respect, regardless of whether a firm decides to take the case. I was also told that medical conditions unrelated to work are not protected at all in California, which is simply inaccurate. This response suggests a fundamental misunderstanding of basic employment law principles, which is disappointing for a legal intake representative.

I spoke to Alejandra long and loud from the very beginning I felt a sense of hope. she was always very professional and on point and specially when she said I will call you back SHE DID !! I retained this firm in June of 2023. My case was in default by March 2024. After two failed attempted to get the packet approved from March to January or 2025, they let the default judgment packet sit idle for 18 months. In June of 2025 defendant's business closed at which time, I requested they request an expedited hearing to get the packet approved. The request was ignored. Instead, they filed continuances without telling me. I was physically sick when I realized the packet they finally submitted after 18 months is substantively identical to the previous packet. Throughout this process, I repeatedly reached out for updates. I often have had to reach out multiple times to get a response and many of the responses I received were confusing, incomplete, or contradicted earlier explanations and the court records. I often felt like I wasn't being given the full picture of what was happening with my case. When I asked for basic case information--billing records, a timeline, an explanation of delays--I was told by Tara Hattendorf my requests were "not reasonable or practicable." When I asked about malpractice insurance, Tara told me I was creating a conflict of interest. I'm sharing my experience because I don't want anyone else to go through the stress, confusion, and emotional toll that I am. I filed a complaint with the State Bar so they can review what happened. I trusted this firm, and I regret that trust. I hope my experience helps someone else make an informed decision.
