My husband and I sought a consultation with The Aguirre Law Firm due to a family member's…read morerecommendation. I initially called with no answer and left a message. My call was never returned after they stated in their voicemail message that they would contact me. I believe it took 48 hours or three days to call us back. My husband and I tried multiple times afterward and finally got through to set up an appointment. The firm sent a questionnaire about the general history of our potential case. Please ensure the firm gets your information right, as one of my husband's last names was misspelled. After that, Flor Rosales contacted us to set up an appointment. We set up the appointment, and when we were to confirm, we got multiple calls from different associates from the firm, I am not sure if they were all on the same page. When we got to the firm, we checked in, waited for a short time, and sat with Silvia Aguirre. Silvia was very kind and comprehensive. She was also very informative about our case and upfront about the worst-case scenario. I was delighted with her first-time service and content with the outline she gave us if we were to start the process. The payment process is very detailed as well. Once we decided to continue with the process, we sat down with Juliana Rodriguez to inform us further about our next step and where to go to complete it. Juliana also brought us our contract for the first step and took our payment. She was very helpful in answering our last questions and clearing some doubts on how to complete our payment. Overall, it was an excellent first-time visit. While, the firm maybe busy, they should have more associates available to answer calls. That would be my only suggestion.

We had such a wonderful experience working with Jessica Dominguez Immigration Law Group for our…read moremarriage-based green card application and genuinely cannot recommend them enough. From the very beginning, they made the entire process feel clear, organized, and much less intimidating than we expected. They were extremely thorough about what they needed from us and gave us so much guidance on the documents and evidence we should gather. Because of that, we felt incredibly prepared at every stage, especially for our interview. One of the things we appreciated most was how responsive and attentive the entire team was. Every attorney and paralegal we worked with was kind, patient, and easy to reach. Whenever we had a question, needed to speak on the phone, or wanted to schedule a meeting, they always made themselves available. They also stayed completely on top of our case and would follow up with us if we forgot something or still needed to send a document, which gave us so much peace of mind. Our own case moved incredibly quickly. We submitted our application in February, had our interview about six months later, were approved the same day, and received the green card shortly afterward. Of course every immigration case and USCIS timeline is different, but we were extremely grateful for how smooth and efficient the process was for us. The whole team made what could have been a very stressful and scary process feel manageable and straightforward. We always felt like we knew what was happening, what was expected of us, and that we were in very capable hands. Five stars. We are so grateful to Jessica Dominguez Immigration Law Group for all of their help and would absolutely recommend them to anyone going through the marriage-based green card process. It was worth the cost and fairly priced for us.

Please be aware of this firm…read more My grandmother had a case with them for many years. I asked them for my grandmothers file, a file that every firm is legally obligated to provide to all of their clients. They came up with a bs excuse that they had the file in storage so there was an associated $50 charge to give her file to her. This is completely unethical to charge clients for their files, so I threatened to file a bar complaint and the attorney called me crying. Based off of us requesting my grandmothers file they dropped my grandmother's case. In the height of immigration issues being the worst my grandmother was given a court hearing. They notified her the week of by sending a letter. Attorneys are notified of hearings months in advance, yet they let her know the week of by sending a letter. When I called they said because I was rude (for asking for a file and getting upset at their attorney for charging $50) that they dropped my grandmothers case. On the court date they appeared to simply request to get off of the case and washed their hands of any responsibility. When I called the firm I was told that they wouldn't even have a simple conversation with me about anything because I threatened to file a state bar complaint and I needed to hire a new attorney. We lost my mother who took care of my grandma and all of this fell on us, all while the firm didn't have the decency to make more attempts in getting a hold of us for such a sensitive matter, especially knowing months in advance. If at all you take from my review please be aware of their practices. They are immigration attorneys handling such sensitive situations, but it seems that if you call them out they become emotional and that skews their moral compass. Also if they try to charge you $50 for your file when you request it - please know that is not legally allowed and you can contact the state bar to report them. (213) 765-1000.
