Hire John! He is the GOAT! I have no idea what I would do without him. He has consistently made the intimidating process of immigration so much easier for me. He always goes out of his way to make time for me and answers all of my questions personally, not through a legal aid, which is surprisingly rare at a law office. He tells you the truth about your case, not just what you want to hear, and has a deep understanding of ever-changing laws. Not only is he a wonderful lawyer, but he's also just a really cool guy who is fun to talk to. I have recommended him to many friends, and everyone loves him as much as I do. read more

I reached out to John Craig with an immigration question late at night, even though I hadn't hired him yet, and he still took the time to respond in detail. He answered my email around 1 a.m., was extremely helpful and reassuring, and didn't rush or pressure me at all. Based on how generous and responsive he's been before I've even retained him, I would absolutely go to him if I need an immigration attorney read more

Highly recommended lawyer, professional with a reasonable price. Even on off days, he is available through email. I got my green card through marriage, with no interview. Never met him personally, he did a great job, all conversations was through email. read more

I am so fortunate to have found John! My immigration case is adjustment of status due to marriage. I have been living in the US since many years and recently got married. I was looking for legal council to help with paperwork and any potential questions or/and situations due to so many horror scenarios that I found online when I planned to file by myself. I am unable to afford any delays because of simple mistakes that can be avoided since I have a sick mom overseas that needs my care sometimes. This is my main reason for filing with an attorney. John was recommended to me by a friend, and from day one of me approaching him I felt blessed to have his support. This men is very responsive and caring but also never fails to answer any questions to the fullest! His immigration fee is very reasonable compared to others and he also helps/works with you in case that the payment can't be made all at once. Thank you John and team of ladies, for your amazing service. John is a very likeable human being first and foremost and a fantastic attorney with attention to detail and care!! read more

Mr. John Craig is truly a godsend. I sent him an email sharing my life story around 10 PM, and to my surprise, he responded by 5 AM. It blew my mind. He asked all the necessary questions and engaged in some back-and-forth emails with me, providing advice on how to proceed. He is truly one of the best out there It's unreal. I am writing another well-deserved 5 star review for John W Craig. He is now helping me with my naturalization application and he has been keeping us updated every step of the way. I cannot recommend him and his team more! Thank you, John, Minerva, and Karla! read more

Personal experience with John, he was recommended to me by another family member. John said I would be unable to get my green card, regardless if I was married to a citizen, if I didn't reinstate my DACA. He reiterated to amplify how I should be extremely weary of any lawyer who says otherwise. He then recommended me to his friend who could "help" my case, Matthew Milen. I received about the same response regarding my case, being that it was hopeless. Matthew then recommended me to his friend Anthony Solís who for some reason decided to bring up a case he was defending about a child molestar who was in the processes of getting his own papers. Long story short, Anthony Solís said a child molester had better chances than I did. What a horrible chain of lawyers and references. I found an honest and reputable lawyer who was surprised I was told so much bs. My recommendation to John is if you don't want to take the case due to your personal feelings about someone then just say you won't take it. My family member didn't have the best results with John either, he got her only a 2 year visa instead of the 10 so now she has to reapply sooner and pay more fees. I recommend unless John really likes your or your specific situation, seek additional advice before you go with him. read more

John W Craig - Immigration Law Near Me - Los Angeles, California

I cannot even begin to tell you all of the problems my partner went through to get his citizenship. It took literally years for him to finally get his Oath Ceremony. Over the years, we moved to two different states while we waited. And waited. And waited. John Craig stood by us every step of the way. We are deeply in debt to his office and, YES, echoing others: he is an absolutely *excellent* communicator! Whether he is in his office or on vacation in another country, he always got back to us within a day. Other service providers could learn a LOT about communication from John. Absolutely wonderful. And we have referred others to him. You can trust him completely. Thanks, John! We owe you an expensive bottle of wine! read more

Best immigration lawyer in town! I worked with John over several years from applying for my first green card, my 10-year green card, and now - I'm an American citizen. I've recommended many of my friends to John and they've all been very satisfied with his work as well. John offers convenient payment options to break down the cost, and always respond fast to emails. read more

I recently got my green card by working with John and his team. Out of all the lawyers I reached out to, I definitely had the best personalized experience with John. He is always very polite, timely in his email responses and, most importantly, knowledgeable in immigration law. He has helped me out so much to navigate through the immigration system and has even saved me money by having the specific knowledge only a top level immigration lawyer would have. I have had countless back and forth emails with him and it has made my green card process so much easier. Overall, I would say John and his team provide a five star immigration law service at a very reasonable price point, especially compared to law firms in the area. I would recommend his services to anyone who need immigration law help. read more

John Craig is an AMAZING lawyer. He is extremely helpful, extremely knowledgeable in his field, extremely responsive, and he makes the process sooo easy for you. It's like he grabs your hand and walks you step by step, does all the leg work for you, updates you on every step of the process, and lets you worry of nothing! I started working with him 3 years ago when i was fresh in the country, and not only i got my green card but we are in the process of already applying for citizenship. John, thank you for being awesome, and for making such a difficult process seem easy. Last but not least, his rates are better than most immigration lawyers, and he offers flexible payment plans. I don't know why I never updated my review for Atty. John Craig, until now... He actually ended up representing me on my immigration case years ago and everything went smoothly. Not only is he a great lawyer, he also has an eye for design. His office is immaculate and very artsy. I will definitely recommend him to anyone in need of legal services. His rates are pretty fair and he was always available when I needed his assistance. Not the "I'm very busy" type of lawyer! --Thank you for everything, Atty. John Craig! read more

He's simply the best ! With John's guidance I obtained my permanent green card without any problems. He always replies to emails promptly even though he's not currently representing me in any matter. He's just helpful that way. He's not your typical lawyer that charges for his time and counsel every time you need help. Excellent Lawyer !! Oh and Karla, his assistant is also awesome !! read more

John is great. Unlike other attorneys he will answer your questions in a consultation so you know what you're paying for unlike other attorneys who expect you to pay thousands up front and just trust them for no reason. John also offers payment plans which are super helpful - especially if you're unable to work right away! And..he calls you back personally instead of getting his paralegals to speak with you. Stand up guy - thanks for all your help John! read more

He promptly answered all my questions. I would work with him again and highly recommend him to everybody.

John deserves every star in this review, if I could I would add another 5 stars! From the start our communication was flawless, he is wonderful at explaining things and even more fantastic at replying to messages. Our communication was exceptional. John is a fantastic lawyer with incredible knowledge. He will be your best advocate and will help you all the way. I highly recommend his services. I'm forever grateful I found him. read more

This guy... You know those certain people who you secretly can expect to respond pretty quickly to EACH AND EVERY email, and to each question you ask? This is that guy. I probably don't need to convince you that John is a great lawyer (plot twist: I'm a lawyer too) and knows his stuff -- that's what the other reviews here are for (spoiler: he knows his stuff). Seems like he knows most of the immigration officers too, which is a huge plus. What struck me most about John is how much he gives a sh*t. We were rushing to get my wife's naturalization (citizenship) filed near the holidays, and after FedEx straight up lost our original envelope, John encourages us to SEND A NEW OVERNIGHT TO A RELATIVE'S HOUSE OUT OF STATE WHERE HE WILL BE STAYING SO HE CAN REVIEW AND RESEND. OVER THE HOLIDAYS. Sure, you'll probably research a few other lawyers too. Go ahead. Just don't be surprised when you end up choosing John. read more

John is an amazing Attorney and a wonderful person. He helped my wife with green card and all the issues.

There really isn't anything to add to the reviews below, they already say everything you need to know. I will forever be thankful I was given his name at the uscis office, my application could not have gone better. I moved here at the beginning of the pandemic and got a green card 13 months later. We only talked on the phone and through emails and never even met in person but my husband and I definitely felt a connection with him because he's so selfless and attentive. For the one billionth time, thank you John! Martina and Richard read more

I believe hiring a lawyer is one of those really important decisions that you once-so-often have to make that determine the course of your life. I would like to share my experience to see if it helps you to make that right choice. I reached out to John based on great reviews on Yelp and we were in contact for about 1.5 years. From the first email I sent to the last phone at USCIS office - my experience could not be better. Any question I had - John communicated to me through email very quickly, consistently and reliably. I always knew what to expect, how to get documents ready and what the time line for upcoming events is. My mom and I are forever grateful for John's incredible professionalism with our green card application and his kindness. And the ironic part - we never met as we live in AZ and the whole process was done remotely! Thank YOU!! read more

I am so grateful that I was able to work with John on my immigration case. John is simply the best. He is very professional, responsive, knowledgeable, and reliable. When I started my immigration process, I was so confused and helpless. I contacted many lawyers (including John) for questions before deciding which lawyer I wanted to work with. Some required paying a fee for consultation, others gave short and generic answers. John spent time answering my questions with great details and without charging any fee. Due to the pandemic, my case was delayed. John kept providing updates and answered my questions quickly and patiently whenever I had any concerns. Also, the staff in his office are very friendly and detail-oriented. They checked my documents very carefully when I visited them before the pandemic. I felt so comfortable letting them handle my case. Because of all the hard and professional work of John and his staff, the interview went extremely well and we got approved right away. Thank you John and your team for all the hard work. read more

John was such an excellent help in my wife's immigration process! He was responsive, informative, helpful and compassionate. He kept us informed every step of the way, and answered all of our questions even outside of business hours. He went above and beyond for us! We are a lesbian couple, and it was important for us to find an attorney who was accepting and nondiscriminatory, John was exactly that! During these mad times, John was helpful in keeping us updated on changes being made to the green-card process by the current administration, and he made sure to be present for our interview via phone in compliance with social distancing procedure. As of this week, my wife received her green-card by mail, all thanks to Mr. Craig! I cannot recommend him enough for anyone with the means to get legal assistance with immigration. Thank you so much John! read more

In 2017, I took a leap of faith and sponsored my fiance from Guatemala through the help of John Craig. About a month ago, my husband was naturalized and we could have not done this without the help of john. The moment I spoke to him on the phone I knew he was the guy who can help us and without a doubt, he helped us all the way from getting my hubby's work permit, green card, and up to his citizenship application. If you want an honest and sincere lawyer who will be so quick in responding to all of your question, John is your guy. He is a god sent immigration lawyer. read more

I can't thank enough John Craig for all his help throughout the process of getting my permanent GC. Despite the pandemic and extensive processing times, we were able to communicate with him consistently and, even if he's out of the office, his team will assist promptly with the paperwork. I thought I had already left my review for John but I guess in my excitement I forgot to, so sorry John. I was so worried about my green card interview because I love my wife so much and didn't want to lose her. Thanks to John I didn't. We only met twice but John was very attentive and told us what to expect in the interview. After the first meeting, I was a lot more calmer after I left his office, John is that professional and friendly. John met us at the interview and was in the room. He told us afterwards that it was not a normal interview for him but we had a laugh afterwards about it. He thinks maybe I got a trainee or something because he says he knows everyone in the building but not the person that interviewed us. No worries though because I passed. Thank you again John read more

John Craig is simply the best. If I could give him 100 stars then I absolutely would. He has helped my wife and I so much and we owe him more than we words can say. With his help she has obtained the 10 Year Green Card, and rest assured when we are ready to apply for Citizenship, we are definitely going to ask for his help once again. He is a great man, who is very knowledgeable, kind, and professional who works hard and truly loves helping people. There's really nothing else that I can add that hasn't already been said many times before, so we would just like to thank John once again from the bottom of our hearts! read more

Started our process with John in 2017. We really had no idea where to start, so off to google I went. Came across John's 5 star yelp reviews and decided to reach out for an consultation. We were immediately impressed by John's professionalism and knowledge on the immigration law. We moved forward and now four years & three applications later my husbands a citizen now. We are completely and absolutely satisfied with Johns work over the years. John is informative and extremely responsive. Most of our interactions were over email but each one was personally sent and specific to our needs. Would happily recommend John to everyone I meet! read more

I saw he has 5 stars so I sent a message. He responded so fast and give me his insight and recommends someone else whom he thinks has more experience in my case. I really appreciate the time he spent on responding to me even if he knows I may not be a possible client for him and try to get me in the right direction. He tries to help anyone when he can. Unlike other lawyers that I've tried who wouldn't give a single piece of information without you talking about payment first. Great Lawyer! read more
