If you only use the telephone to communicate; then, a simple note on your website should indicate that! So when the prospective client has to call your business to inquire if their online request was received and proceed to have a follow-up conversation, you should know what they are talking about and if you don't; then, the professional thing to do is to do your diligence and be professional! DO NOT cop an attitude and talk rudely! As if a person is wasting your time! The nerve! When I called to follow up on a quote request I did on their website (http://www.alstarmedtrans.com/medical-transportation-schedule-a-trip), I got the voicemail the first time. No problem. I called back so I could leave a voice message, but a man answered on the second ring. He said "hello" instead of a company greeting and I had to ask if I was calling Alstar Medical Transportation. He confirmed. I go into the reason for my call and it went "down hill from there." I asked if he received my online quote request because the website offers that option. He got irritated with me and asked me, "what form are you talking about?" I replied, "the form on your website, you don't know your website?" He snidely replied, "yeah I know my website." So what's with the attitude? Now I know why no one got back to me. He continued to get smart with me in his thick accent and very tersely asked did I want a quote? I had to pause so I could regain my composure, this unprofessional individual hung up on me. Alright sir. Sadly, this is the kind of service, and a much needed service for the community, that comes to my county. I did not appreciate nor did I deserve to be talked to so rudely. I guess you don't need my business. I damn sure will not call you for anything! This county doesn't need businesses like this! I had medical test that day that prevented me from eating and was extremely hungry. When I called the driver for the third time he just said he was on his way, when I asked when would he arrive he hung up on me. I then called the main number to see if another driver could pick me up but no one answered the phone. I left a voice message to call me back. No one every called back. When he arrived I asked the driver why he was so late, he stated I was not the only person that needed a ride. I paid $150.00 and I expected to received prompt service. The attitude of the driver as if he was doing me a favor instead that I was a paying customer and is unacceptable. Their method is to over book and hold you hostage.
