They called me at work and said they would have to sedate her to even examine her. I initially gave my consent but when a co-worker told me they put a mask over the cat's face and it is VERY STRESSFUL, I immediately revoked my consent and drove and picked up my cat. Ft. Thomas A. H. Vet had this same cat eating out of his hands in minutes. His examine results were that she was fine and in generally good condition other than stress-related hair loss due to recent Tomcat addition to household. *****

A few of the caretakers came to our home a week or so prior to our trip to see our pet care routine, ask questions, etc. During our trip, we received text message updates when they arrived and left, often with pictures of our boys. The only hiccup we had was noticing an interior door left open after they left. We let them know and they returned quickly to close it up before our boys got into something they shouldn't have. Whenever anything has gone awry while I'm away the owner has always called me and managed the issue personally. When one of my dogs had a medical issue while I was out of town, they took him to the urgent care vet and stayed with him the whole time while he got treatment while keeping me updated, then took him back again the next day for his check up. My kids finally convinced me to get a dog, and, of course, I love him like crazy now. But…read moresometimes, you really can't take a 45 pound animal with you everywhere you go. For those times, I rely on Happy Paws. I can tell they love what they do, because they are always cheerful whenever we interact: drop-off, pickup, over the phone. They know my dog by name and are always happy to play with him for a moment when he arrives, and give him a couple treats when he has to leave, too. Thy require all dogs to have a temperament test of a few hours before they're allowed to stay, in addition to up-to-date vet records. This really gave me peace of mind to know that all the dogs there have been screened and are safe to be around my most precious puppy. Once that test is done, you can drop off your dog for daycare anytime during business hours; no appointment needed. This flexibility has proven to be a lifesaver for me, and definitely keeps me coming back. They also offer boarding and grooming services, but I have not tried those yet. Well, except nail trimming, because I don't need that headache! They are great! Your doggo will love them!
