Sent an email to Judiciary Process Servers, asking them to file a document in the courthouse in…read moreClackamas, Oregon. In the email, I included a foreign subpoena and declaration that needed to be filed with the court. Here was my exact email: "I need the attached "civil subpoena" and "declaration and request for issuance of a subpoena" filed at the Clackamas County Courthouse. I was instructed to have it brought to window 5 or 6 on the 1st floor of the courthouse. The court is going to issue a foreign subpoena. Once it is issued, can you email it to me? Also, let me know how to make payment. Thank you." The owner, Joe Horton, sent the following response: "We can help with getting your documents over to the court. As far as serving it, once they issue the Subpoena to you, you can then submit a new order for service of process through our order form. Here is a link where you can place your order: https://judiciaryprocessservers.com/service-request-form-menu/ Select process server." About ten days after emailing the documents to him, I called to check status. Joe claimed he had no record of me placing an order. I mentioned our email exchange. He told me that the email wasn't an order, but, rather, I needed to go to the website to order. When I re-read his email, it expressly said "We can help getting your documents to the court." No where in his email did he tell me that I needed to place an order through the website. His email indicated that ONCE THE COURT ISSUED THE SUBPOENA then I would need to place an order to have it served. I'm not bothered that a company made a mistake, even though the mistake put me in a huge hole, as time is very limited on this matter. I asked Joe if he could run the documents to the court that day for a discount (he wanted to charge $350). He steadfastly refused. I calmly explained that his email lead me to believe that he had already agreed to deliver the documents for me. He absolutely refused to cooperate. I was really struck with how Joe made utterly no attempt to solve the problem, nor did he offer an ounce of customer service. He was just dismissive of me, even though his email clearly indicated that he was wrong. I post negative reviews about once every five years. Joe's utter refusal to offer any customer service caused me to write this review. I don't wish Joe any ill-will, but at some point he needs to brush up on his customer service skills.

Definitely a scam... I work at a civil defense firm, and we hired Judiciary Process Servers to…read moreserve three witness subpoenas to a remote-ish location. They claimed to have completed service to all three individuals. We were thrilled, because this had proven to be a difficult job for other companies. None of the individuals got their subpoena served to them. I was in contact with the individuals that were being served throughout the process of subpoena service, and they were all pleasant. They had otherwise been cooperative throughout the case. Joe claimed they must be lying about not receiving service, and did not discuss further. It is my impression that Joe is fine with blatantly lying about services, it seems to be his MO. The other reviews are not surprising after my own experience, I wish I had checked yelp before hiring Joe's firm. Avoid! Don't give him any more money.

I contacted King Process Services after conducting an internet search. I placed the initial call and Maria answered the phone. I was immediately impressed with her professionalism. She sent me a link to forward the documents I needed served as well as an invoice to be paid via PayPal. I sent my documents via email and paid the invoice. To my amazement, within a matter of three hours I received a message from Maria with proof of service attached. I can only say that I have used many, many process servers throughout the United States and never have I had my matter addressed as quickly as King Process Services handled this one. I HIGHLY recommend this company and will utilize their services in the future should the need arise. Thanks Maria, You rocks!

Misleading, Overpriced, and Unprofessional…read more I wish I could give zero stars. I hired this company to handle service for my divorce paperwork and was completely misled. They never mentioned that they don't file documents in Montgomery County (only Prince George's), which caused me to miss my 60-day filing window. I spent over two months waiting for a court date, thinking they had filed everything. Their email simply said "affidavit attached," with no explanation that I needed to file it myself. A simple note saying "we do not file with Montgomery County courts" would have saved me a huge headache. To make things worse, I later learned from the court that I was overcharged -- nearly $200 for something the sheriff's office does for $60. When I called to share feedback, the owner was extremely defensive and wouldn't even let me finish explaining. I rarely leave reviews, but this experience was frustrating, expensive, and avoidable. Be very cautious if you choose to use them -- ask exactly what's included, and don't assume they'll actually file anything for you.

I was told by them that Bill Blackford, Esq. was handling the estate and that I should work through him. Over the course of getting the necessary repairs made and then showing and selling the house, Bill and I worked together closely to get the job done. At one point, I asked him to please get rid of the parked car in front of the house so it would show better (and allow someone a place to park.) Bill had it sold and moved in no time at all! He promptly paid all vendors for the repair work they did for us, was responsive to completing all required paperwork quickly, and kept everything else rolling promptly, right up to an on-time settlement. I give him a 5-star review!

I contacted Bill to try to help me understand the documents and to try to figure out some way to dispose of the timeshare. He was able to explain the documents to me and we contacted the company directly while in his office. Both of us spoke to the company rep and after about 20 minutes Bill was able to convince them that due to my age (81) that I was not using it anymore and wanted to be rid of it. They agreed to let me get out of the contract and said they would send me the documentation to complete the process. I could not believe how quickly and easily he was able to accomplish this. Approximately one month later I received documents in the mail from the company which allowed me to turn over the time share to them. I filled out the papers, had them notarized and mailed them back. I would definitely recommend Bill to anyone I know.
