He then added value by offering to paint my cellar door at no extra labor cost. Unfortunately the paint store I visited was busy and unhelpful, and I ended up with the wrong shade of paint. Here again, Leo was generous and understanding and offered to send someone out to repaint it. He did so in a timely manner. Both workers were hardworking and respectful and cleaned up after well. The pictures show before and after the job, which turned out well.

After meeting with SO many highly rated and/or personally referred contractors, I had no trouble…read morechoosing Chronos Contracting to complete my logistically complicated commercial office buildout. From the first phone call Peter Demos demonstrated a clear understanding of the unique details of the job, specifically the importance of soundproof walls for my medical buildout (fyi there are a bunch of contractors out there who don't know from soundproofing). He also identified (and fixed!) a heating/cooling problem within the space that never would have occurred to me. The crew completed everything in record time and with preternatural neatness. I swear to god they cleaned the toilet on the regular. And those are just a couple of examples of extreme above and beyond. Almost dally, Peter's creative (dare I say elegant?) solutions met each structural, logistical, and financial roadblock head on and, in absolutely every case, succeeded beautifully and with my tight budget in mind. Amazingly, this was all done within the wholly unreasonable timeline of 4 weeks. The completed project is of such high quality that it defies the criticism of the even the most enthusiastic naysayers. To quote one particularly curmudgeonly tenant, "I keep looking for things that were done wrong but they aren't there". So sorry, curmudgeonly tenant. Better luck next time. As a newcomer to commercial real estate I was a nervous nelly at best and an easy target at worst. Working with Peter Demos and Chronos Contracting was and continues to be the best decision I've made in these early days of building my business and I look forward to NOT stressing about hiring a contractor ever again. I ordered a unit from the appliance store but they could not deliver for 2 days so I knew 2 tough, hot days were coming. I let Marlon know the situation and he offered to go pick up the unit at the store and install it the same day instead. I canceled the delivery immediately. As promised, Marlon came and did a quick installation, perfect job. As always the price was very fair. Marlon has done multiple jobs for me in the past including ceiling repair and installing a handrail in a staircase. The work was always outstanding and the price was always right.
