The owner is friendly and always willing to share his knowledge, helping you pick the right option in your price range. I always enjoy talking with him when I stop by. Pricing is about average and compares to the big box liquor stores like Binney's. If you are looking for something, I do recommend this Cardinal Wine and Spirit store.

A cool feature which carried over is that they continue to carry many hard-to-find liquors, ethnic liquor selections, wines, champagnes and other spirits. Also, this liquor store has always offered a unique selection of airplane bottles and they'd always offered a bulk discount when buying a dozen or more bottles. That is until they got new ownership.. now that discount is no more. Also what little level of customer satisfaction or warm greetings was given, has flown out of the window. I dunno about you guys, but I like a greeting and a thanks for doing business with them. Hopefully they make a decision to hire locals as employees. I don't agree with the other reviewer's mention of cheap prices, which is really dependent on what is being purchased. Prices are as normal as most liquor stores. But, if you shop with Cardinal often it would be wise to get one of their loyalty discount cards.

I think that's for special tastings though. I've heard people say this place is a little more expensive compared to somewhere like Walmart or Jewel, but I don't really see it. Recently, they had a free craft beer tasting all along the beer aisle, and that was a cool experience for me. They didn't ID anyone, which was kinda fishy since I look painfully underage, but I sampled almost all of the beers that the vendors offered. Although I didn't care for any of the samples, I enjoyed talking to the vendors and learning more about their brands.
