The heat rejection is definitely noticeable compared to my other car. I waited 2 weeks to write this review after it is cured a bit and washed so i could see better. There are a few dust bubbles that I noticed but it's not that obvious. If it was within my line of eye sight, I would let them know. No tint shop has 100% free of imperfection so I am overall happy with the tints. I don't know if they would retint but I also didn't ask so I won't dock them for it. The price is comparable to some other places. I found cheaper ones but either the reviews or poor communication swayed me away from them. They answer quick, so I assume if I have/had an issue they would address it. By the way it's like a 20 min walk to target, so bring a snack/drink while you wait. I had an appointment but there were two other people there already so it did take a few hours.

THE QUOTE: Through Yelp message they gave me a quote for my Tesla though I did not provide % I wanted. When I arrived for my appointment, they told me 30% was only available in ceramic - price was more than quoted. THE MAIN PROBLEM: the ceramic tint is green and my stock tint on the rear windows are brownish. I can definitely notice when looking at the car from the side. I just feel like they should have known and could have told me about the color difference since they have tinted Teslas before. NOW WHAT? I can probably go back and have the tint replaced under warranty since there are a few small bubbles. I was told they can replace with different tint % only if lower or same cost. BUT they will take longer for warranty work since its unpaid - prob over an hour. I just don't feel like waiting so I guess I will live with it for now...

Sometimes, I'm not sure how much to trust perfect 5-star reviews, especially for business that have…read moreless than 100 reviews. That was the case when I posted here on Yelp for the potential need for a wrap on my 2014 Jeep Cherokee, because the clear coat was starting to come off in spots on the hood, roof, and rear spoiler. (I'm going to go into a lot of details below, but the short story is that based on my experience, you can trust the perfect 5-star rating for Clean Wrap Customs.) Jesus from Clean Wrap Customs was one of about 5 businesses to reach out. Based on cost and meeting my needs, Clean Wrap Customs and one other business were my 2 main options. Simply because the other business was closer to my house, I went there first. They also had essentially a perfect 5-star rating and actually had a few hundred reviews already more than Clean Wrap Customs, so I went there thinking they'd likely get my business. Within 30 minutes, however, something didn't feel right. Although they were upfront that their pricing could go up depending on what they saw when they got a closer look at my Cherokee, I was surprised that it went up by nearly 50% from the earlier estimates. I decided to pay a visit to Jesus, and the experience was much different. First, Jesus took the time to understand what I was asking for and why. Initially, I was looking to do a wrap for just where the clear coat was coming off. We tried to see if there was any vinyl that would be a match to the stock paint, but we couldn't find anything. So, we looked at options for a contrasting color. Jesus worked with us patiently, giving us virtual images of what different vinyl wraps would look like, but nothing was working for us. He even had a nearby paint shop vendor stop by to give us an estimate on redoing the clear coat/paint for the affected areas on my Cherokee. (He did this after we'd taken up nearly an hour of his time, essentially giving us the option of spending our money with another business.) In the end, we decided to have Jesus do a full wrap on the Cherokee...significantly more than we planned to spend initially, but we felt good with how Jesus handles his business and felt it would be money well-spent. (And at this point, we were starting to see how/why he had a 5-star rating.) The full wrap looks great on our Cherokee! Jesus even did a follow-up session after 2 weeks to take care of any bubbles or any other issues that may have come up since the initial installation. More than the craftsmanship, though, we were even more impressed with Jesus. When I first picked up the car, Jesus mentioned that he had to replace the windshield washer nozzles, because they broke when he removed them to install the wrap. Also, before I drove away, I noticed that the powered driver's side mirror wasn't working properly; it's possible some debris may have gotten into the mechanism and caused it to break the first time I tried to adjust the mirror. Now, given that this is a 12-1/2 year old vehicle that has spent most of its life sitting outside in the elements, either of those things could easily have been blamed on wear-and-tear. Jesus, however, replaced everything at no cost to me. I even offered to pay half for replacing the mirror, but he would have none of it. This is not just an honest businessman but someone who wants to do right by his customers! If you're considering a wrap for your vehicle, Jesus and Clean Wrap Customs gets my highest recommendation. I'm also considering taking my Jeep Wrangler for him to add ceramic tint in the near future.

The customer service was just as impressive; I was supposed to pick up my car at 4 PM. Although it took a bit longer than expected (I was supposed to pick up my car at 4 PM, but it was 5 PM). Friendly, professional, and truly focused on quality. They told me to leave my windows up for 3-5 days and not to park it in the garage so the bubbles will flatten out. I didn't see any bubbles....I'm very happy with the results and would recommend them. Leaving 4 stars for now. I'll check back in one month to let you know if it was worth it. Update as of 5/15/26: Bumping this up to 5 stars. We're just about at the 30‑day mark (5/17), and I said I'd report back on whether Jet Black was worth it--so here I am. Today was a bit warm, so I decided to really test the heat‑resistant tint. I left the windows up while the car was parked, and I have to say, it works. Normally, I'd need the air‑conditioner, but the inside of the car wasn't hot at all. And I stay hot. So, was Jet Black worth it? Absolutely. Thank you, Jet Black - The job was well worth it!!

This place is right across from In-N-Out, which made it easy to spot. I called earlier this morning and Ulises gave me a quote on the spot. Our 2025 Honda Pilot already has the factory tint in the rear, and he walked me through what options would help match the driver and passenger windows. Super clear and honest explanation. When I arrived, Ulises greeted me right away and his team seemed friendly and focused on their work. The waiting area was comfortable and I just relaxed and watched the movie Friday while everything was getting done. Really impressed with the quality. What stood out the most was he actually recommended the more affordable option since I didn't want to do the entire vehicle. No pressure to get the most expensive option, just laid out all the choices and let me pick what made sense for our Honda Pilot. Easy recommendation if you're looking to tint your vehicle.

If you own a Tesla or any high-end car and care about quality, this is absolutely the place to go. Joe, the owner, is always welcoming and clearly pours his passion into the business. You can tell immediately how much he values his team. He treats his staff like family, and it shows in their work. Everyone there genuinely enjoys what they do, and they really do live up to the "OCD" name when it comes to attention to detail. I learned the hard way that not all highly rated Yelp shops deliver real quality. After going to another popular place, a friend pointed out several issues in the work that I had completely missed. Never again! I would much rather pay for top-tier service and have peace of mind than worry about fixing problems later. Most recently, I had a front PPF and tint done on my Tesla, and the results were flawless. OCD Detailing is one of the few places capable of tinting the entire Tesla roof using a single piece, with no seams, and it looks incredible. They were also kind enough to help install hub caps I purchased separately and recommended a great source for blacked-out emblems. My car turned out beautiful. The only downside is that I live in San Francisco, so the drive is a bit out of the way, but it was absolutely worth it. I recommend OCD Detailing to all my friends whenever they're looking for high-quality PPF or tinting. If you care about your car, this is where you take it.

This place is expensive, and there is a weeks-long wait to get work done, but they will not settle for anything less than perfection. They even scheduled a follow-up appointment to check their work. The 5 stars are well earned!
