Firstly, I have…read morebeen to ACJ before with my 2015 Civic and got front and back windows tinted with carbon 20% and it was great other than fading on the front tips of the tint where the window was covered by the rubber seals and that is why I returned. THE QUOTE: Through Yelp message they gave me a quote for my Tesla though I did not provide % I wanted. When I arrived for my appointment, they told me 30% was only available in ceramic - price was more than quoted. THE MAIN PROBLEM: the ceramic tint is green and my stock tint on the rear windows are brownish. I can definitely notice when looking at the car from the side. I just feel like they should have known and could have told me about the color difference since they have tinted Teslas before. NOW WHAT? I can probably go back and have the tint replaced under warranty since there are a few small bubbles. I was told they can replace with different tint % only if lower or same cost. BUT they will take longer for warranty work since its unpaid - prob over an hour. I just don't feel like waiting so I guess I will live with it for now...

I went to a friend of a friend's shop (supporting an up and coming business ) to get an XPEL tint. They applied it so horribly that I couldn't stand it. Bubbles everywhere (after ~4 days in the sun), so much lint stuck under the film, and more scratches than on my phone's screen protector. I came back to ACJ (this would be my 5th car with them) because I know they would do me right. The gentleman assisting customers at the front of the office is legit -- Doesn't pressure to get one tint over the other. Presented the options they had and didn't tell me to replace my horribly done tints from the other shop. Humble enough to even say, "we don't bad mouth another shop's work." The tint came out perfect, per usual -- ACJ has always done a stellar job with my cars. They provide Llumar, 3M, and Suntek. Llumar IRX is what I got, 5% in rear and 30% in front. A bit lighter than my last car but I'm tired of getting pulled over Overall, completely satisfied with the job and the fact that they saved my sanity.

Oh, and if you have old tint? Surprise-that's another $200-$300. Would've been nice if that part made it into the fine print somewhere. Also, if you drive a stick shift, congratulations-you're now part of the service. They can't move your car, so you'll be sticking around longer than expected. And just when you think you're done, you're not. I had to come back because they couldn't figure out how to remove the rear third brake light. It wasn't exactly hidden treasure-in fact, it was pretty straightforward-but still something that should probably be in their skill set. To top it off, the job left a mess behind. Yes, my headliner is sagging, but a quick vacuum of the debris created during the work would've been the bare minimum. And look, I get it-slow days happen. But sleeping when a customer walks in? Not exactly a great first impression. Overall, just be ready: the "deal" is more of a starting suggestion than an actual price.

I found this shop on Yelp and thought they quoted a pretty good rate. The appointment was quick and…read moreeverything went well until 10 days later. The windshield was cracked for about one foot long without any sign of hitting. So I reached out to the technician and he said it wasn't under any warranty unless it was due to workmanship or water leaking. At first, it sounded like they were not behind their product. So I said the windshield was faulty and cracked inside the car. However, he still didn't understand my point but keeping telling me that it wasn't covered if it was impacted by something like a rock. So I felt like I needed to talk to the manager and address my concerns. In addition, I requested a different brand in case they needed to replace it. After the appointment was set, the windshield had a couple more cracks just like the one before. So without a doubt, the shop had no problem to replace it at no cost. They also apologized that was the first time they had this faulty windshield. At the end, I am still thankful to find them. I'd definitely have given them 5 stars if they would have listened to me before making all sorts of assessment.

They ran a full diagnostic and quickly figured out what was wrong. They explained that the previous company had used the wrong installation materials, which caused the problem.
