This was not just any cake topper, but a custom cake topper that the bride designed and was special to both of them. As their wedding planner, they reach out to me for my "super powers". Well, it is 4pm on a Thursday and the wedding is on Saturday, so I immediately think that it is impossible to find a local vendor who can help. I began to make calls, to 6 different vendors as a matter of fact, and not one of them can help me on such short notice. I then recall a vendor 45 minutes away from me who kindly assisted me with a previous project, so I reached out to Rudy with Lasershark. He immediately responds and says he's boarding a plane and will be home later that evening, but not too worry, he will get it done...send me the design file. I do just that and low and behold, first thing Friday morning he notifies us that the custom cake topper is ready for pickup! What a life saver...Lasershark made this wedding planner look like a superstar to her clients for sure! Not only was Rudy responsive, professional and affordable, the cake topper was exactly what the bride and groom wanted. As a matter of fact, better quality then the one they forgot back home. On 5/11/15 we received three Fridgcon FGM-49R's from Best Restaurant Supply in Mcallen, TX. All…read morewere damaged in one way or another. We asked for a couple of replacement panels for two of the three that were damaged and to repair the one that was not working at all. Over a week later, Best Restaurant sent out two service people, one of which we had to pay for the service call ourselves and were never reimbursed. Both service people agreed that the compressor needed to be replaced because the copper tubing going to the compressor had been broken off for over a week and there would be moisture inside. Best Restaurant Supply elected to only have the copper line welded back on to the compressor. The person fixing the line said that the compressor would never last. Over a month later, we are still waiting for the replacement panels and the Fridgcon that was fixed also has LED lights that do not work. I have made it clear to Best Restaurant what I would need to make this better but I have not heard back from them in over a week. So at this point I have three brand new Fridgcons, two of which look like used, beat up Fridgcons. I have communicated very thoroughly on what needs to be done. I have all emails and pictures related to these issues. The previous was word for word what I posted to the BBB. Best Restaurant never responsed to the BBB.

I walked in Thursday afternoon to get my usual closing gift for my client. Teapot is always my…read morefavorite. I usually have my flowers with me as I walk in. The two employees that have been there forever are always so helpful. They cut the flowers I bring in and add water to whatever I decide on. Well this time was a different experience. As the young girl rang me up and older lady was standing at the counter and I asked if she can put the flowers in the pot and add the pretty pink bow they always do to complete the look. Well, she yelled at me and said "she can not put the flowers in" here I am thinking maybe due to COVID. But no, she just didn't want to do that for me. I tell her "your employees always do it for me" with this confused look in my eyes (wearing my mask) well she ripped the flowers out of my hands with attitude and walked away. I asked if she was the owner and the you g girl said yes. I was appalled by her customer service. A few minutes later she came back with the teapot and my flowers in her hand and said "i asked all my full time employees if they do this and they all said no!" She hands me my pot and flowers and I in shock!! The young girl that had helped me apologized for the owner as she walked away and closed the door to the back room. Here I am helping small businesses out and I get yelled at and called a liar!!! Here are a few photos taken at her store where they put the flowers and pink bow for me with no Complaint!!! You all lost a loyal customer and I will never walk in your store again!
