It's the best I've eaten here in the RGV and coming in a close second to City Market in Luling, TX. It's that good! This visit I decided to try their Three Brisket Combo meal. It comes with three brisket tacos (corn or flour tortillas) loaded with brisket, a couple grilled jalapeño slices, grilled onions and some cilantro. They didn't need salsa but a squeeze of lime might've been helpful. The side I chose was their house made coleslaw which was pretty tasty. I ordered their green beans with onion and bacon but a few minutes after ordering a fellow came out to tell me they were out of the beans so I settled for the slaw. I also ordered an order of their house cut, tallow fried french fries. Man, were they GOOD! As in THE BEST FRIES I'VE EVER EATEN IN MY LIFE GOOD!!! They are worth the visit all by themselves. The combo meal comes with a bottomless drink as well. The wife and I split the Combo meal, added the fries and a small side of potato salad that she wanted. We each ate one taco and about half of the sides. So we had a leftover taco, some fries and half our sides for the next day. All for like $21. The combo meal is $13.99 which is a pretty good deal in itself. The fries were like $6 and well worth the price. We will definitely be back. I would also highly recommend their 50/50 Rice and Beans topped with Brisket Bowl. That provided two meals for me when I ordered it previously. You can't go wrong at this little joint.

The hummus was simply divine. The best hummus I've ever had. Paired with the soft, fresh pita, every bite was perfect. The garlic sauce instantly brought me back to my childhood. Some flavors have a way of unlocking memories, and this was one of them. And the tea was the perfect ending. For our entrees we tried the steak tacos and the pork belly fettuccine. The tacos were soooooo yummy and came as 5 small tacos with all the fixings on the plate that you could add to your liking. I was there for one night and wanted something that wasn't a chain. I'm so happy I found this place. It was a Sunday and it was busy with a great dj playing 90s dance hits! Amazing covered patio seating. They had two vegan options and I went with the tacos. They were so good with all the fixing and all the hot sauces! The guacamole here is more on the lime side and I loved that. If you're vegan/plant based, the salsa they serve when you sit will have queso. You can request without.
