He came out quickly, was extremely thorough while trying to keep cost low, and is familiar with biotoxin illness, which was super refreshing! He even recommended a few doctors I could see. He was also really communicative in what he was doing and seeing, pointing out areas that could be concerning. He took a number of samples and I'll get the results in 2-3 days. I told him I'd be recommending him to at least 2 other people!

Many simple things which we should've been made aware of such as NO smoke detectors ( what an awful safety issue ) . The home should NOT have passed an inspection.

Seeing Greg work and check every item to ensure your family will be safe with such a large purpose, made every penny worth it. He didn't miss one single problem, either. In the years since I hired him, I've been living in the house, and not one bad thing has been detected. I was tremendously impressed by the way he was generous with his time. He answered all of my questions and gave me proper explanations for getting started in fixing things. (Please note that I did not say he will spend all day explaining things in great detail when you are too lazy to do any work to learn.) His report was tremendously clear and understandable to people who aren't experts, too.

As we had been living in the house (an old house in Bloomfield) for some time, he offered us a fresh perspective, which we valued immensely. He informed us of some issues that we were unaware of (such as an old electrical line coming into our meter from the street, loose roof shingles, etc.) that should be addressed. This provided us with a helpful starting point for setting up a schedule of necessary home improvements. Andy took his time to answer all of our first-time home buyer questions and impressed me with his knowledge of the construction, electrical, and plumbing trades. He walked our house during the Covid pandemic, and followed all proper safety procedures. We added on a pest check sub-contracted through Griffin that was fast and thorough (and luckily revealed no termites). We were able to schedule an appointment within a week, despite a crowded schedule, at a very reasonable rate, and received the inspection report within a few days. Andy was professional, friendly, and efficient. I would highly recommend him for your home inspection needs.
