Eh, they're all right. I rented a house in Goleta through them for about a year, but there were troubles towards the end of the lease and I guess the property manager really didn't want to deal with it. When it started, he began to let all my calls go to voicemail and would take a few days to get back to me. Eventually I moved out, but it had more to do with the housemates than the property manager, the property, or the landlord.
Property managers typically get paid a fixed fee, say, a percentage of the rental income. It's not worth it for them to spend a lot of time dealing with a particular property's issues, especially if it's not a cash cow. I haven't had nightmares with this company, which is saying a lot as I've been a renter on a budget for quite a few years and had some pretty crappy property managers. This wasn't one of them.
And that's probably the best review I'll ever give about a property management company. read more
