I write this in the comfort of my own backyard, with the wind gently swaying the branches of our tree, a rather good omen for this review. We had horrible luck with realtors in the past, so much so that we could spot one a mile away. The moment that we met Alisa and eventually her husband David, we were on the outs with our last incompetent realtor. Who knew that returning a call would lead us in just four short months to a lifetime of bliss? As a whole, we were pretty divided on where we wanted to settle in, and both Alisa and David were incredibly patient with us. As our opinion changed, their recommendations accommodated us. As anyone who has worked with ~self serving ~ salesmen will attest, this couple was not in it for the quick and easy sale. They went all in, for the long haul. It was weekly trips to three, four and up to five homes a trip. It was price checking mortgage rates and what our payments would be, answering concerns on insurance and quelling nerves when our offers were rejected. It seems fitting that this same couple took the time to come with us and review our final paperwork when we signed for our home. The notary was stupefied. When had we ever had this level of attention and care from our previous realtors? In all my days had we ever met a couple who care about doing their job right, and do it full of heart. Alisa assured us that any questions we had over the course of our home-owning lifetime, they would be there for us. I'm personally impressed that after our (my) level of intensity and question asking, she hasn't blocked my number yet. If you're looking for a straight-as-an-arrow, decent, hard working couple to take care of your real estate needs, you're home. read more

Property Masters Realty - Real Estate Agents Near Me - Glendale, California

I've been trying to inquire about a listed property (6622 5th Ave, Los Angeles) for over a month and have left multiple voicemails and emails with no reply. As a serious and motivated buyer, I expected at least some form of acknowledgment or follow-up. It feels like they are either overwhelmed or uninterested in engaging with potential buyers who aren't already on the inside. If you're genuinely trying to buy a home, be prepared for radio silence. read more

Highly recommend! David, Alisa and Emily helped me buy a new home as a first time buyer. Great communication, knowledgeable, reliable, strong negotiation skills. The best results for their client is their top priority. They go above and beyond other agents we have worked with. They put their client needs first. They also helped with all the other aspects of buying my home such as the inspections and home insurance and walked me through the entire process. They are very caring and thorough and I will definitely recommend Property Masters to anyone looking to buy. I couldn't agree more with the reviews left by Sunshine E. in 2021 and Sarin N. in 2022. read more

Great experience! David, Alisa and Emily, the team at Property Masters Realty, helped me sell my house and purchase my new home. They did a great job from start to finish. They made sure that I knew about Prop 19, helped me get my house ready to market, made it look great and negotiated to get me the best offer for my property. David and Alisa worked to help me find my new home, where I am very happy. I would definitely recommend them - knowledgeable, reliable, great follow through, great communication. read more

I can't say enough good things about the team at Property Masters Realty. We searched for a home for almost two years with another agent with no success, and in less than two months of meeting Alisa and working with her, we were able to purchase our dream home! She worked with us almost every weekend, stayed in constant communication with us and our lender to make it all happen, and even set up a showing of the home we purchased the day before Thanksgiving and prepared and sent out our offer docs that same day! And Emily from their office was always so prompt with emailing the offer docs that we never had to worry about anything. I have no doubt in my mind that if we hadn't started working with Alisa and her team, that I wouldn't be sitting in my dream home right now. Fast forward two months and we were struggling to find renters for our condo, so we of course reached out to Alisa. She and David then helped us take photos of our condo, list and rent it out. And what's so amazing is that they are so genuine and have given us tips and walked us through the whole process for the purchase and lease. Not only did they help us get our home, rent out our old one, but they also recommended a contractor to do the work on our house, they really are full service! They've really treated us like friends and we look forward to continuing to work with them in the future. read more

I called and left multiple messages in the course of a week and a half and never received a phone call back. When I finally did, Alissa was not very helpful. The lack of professionalism and common courtesy was appalling. Oh well. read more

Unprofessional, difficult to work with and unreasonable. I would never recommend this firm to anyone. They represented the sellers and to my knowledge didn't perform up to sellers expectations and consistently mismanaged communications and correspondence with the buyers. read more

Alisa and David are great! Personable and professional, they make listing your property a breeze. David has an artist's eye for photographing and staging property, accentuating amenities. Alisa is intuitive in understanding your needs regarding pricing and the entire selling process. If you are looking for a seamless sale, utilize Property Masters. read more

After more than a year searching for a house, Claudia Molina and David Krohn found us a dream home in just over a month! They took the time to explain the market to us, understand our search criteria, and introduce us to new neighborhoods to help us realize the many possibilities of the LA area. They were dedicated advocates for us. They found us a perfect home in a very tough housing climate - And we couldn't be happier. read more

I wish I could give no stars. David represented the buyers of our house. It has been the single worst escrow my wife and I have ever had. In 30 day escrow window he managed to not only be impossible to get in contact with but managed to miss the 10 day inspection deadline, the 15 day appraisal deadline and the 17 day loan contingency removal. Add to that several delays in getting this deal closed and is now going to be almost 2 weeks past the 30 day close. He also comes off as greedy with the counters. After all the delays and BS and being several days late with inspection reports and requests for correction he countered with an absolutely greedy senseless offer. We countered a very fair counter and he still came back wanting more. At that point we went radio silent for a few days and we're going to move to another offer when he rescinded their counter and signed our original counter. He has absolutely zero motivation and no regard for deadlines. There were a couple times we seriously considered killing the deal because his lack of doing anything was beyond what we wanted to deal with. If it weren't for not wanting to start over with our other offer I'd have ended the contract and gone with them. Don't hire this guy unless you want a lazy incompetent unmotivated agent that runs on island time read more

When we first met with David in the beginning of March at his office, he told us that we could buy property in the area we wanted and probably be in escrow by the spring. Only a few months after a crash course in real estate, all of what he said came true and we found our first home in Highland Park! The whole team (Emily, Erik, and David) really did a wonderful job dealing with our specific needs, tricky work schedule, and budget. At no time did we feel any pressure or get the feeling like we were being pushed into a deal we didn't want. These are great agents to have on your side. They are very knowledgeable about the market and property in the Los Angeles area. read more

I cannot believe the unprofessionalism of this agency. As buyers I wouldn't expect to be in love with a selling agent but I would expect courtesy, fairness and basic decency. Instead we were met with spite and greed that made the entire process incredibly antagonistic and untrustworthy. This went far beyond what I would imagine was advocating on behalf of the sellers, was to the point of just plain caustic. Cannot recommend against them enough. read more

I was already working with an agent I liked when someone suggested I give David Krohn a call and just chat with him. I had to break up with my other agent immediately after getting off the phone with David. Not only did he understand exactly what we wanted in our first home but he knew what we NEEDED better then we did. He showed us one house, just one, not even on the market yet and he was right, it was exactly what we needed. He and his staff even walked me through the horror of a rogue mortgage broker and found me one that didn't make me cry in frustration. They were there when I needed help with any transaction, made the extra mile their norm and couldn't have made this monumental transaction any easier. Not only do I like and trust them but I have recommended them to two other people, including my 65+ year old mother and they have done the same outstanding job for all of them. I can't think of a business I would recommend more. read more

David Krohn and Erik Reppe were great to work with. They both sold our home (within the first weekend of listing!) and helped me purchase our new home. They juggled the timing perfectly, got us what we asked for in the home we were selling, found us the perfect home, AND helped me find a loan officer that came through despite the crazy lending requirements of late. It was a painless experience and David and Erik were professional throughout the entire process. They are both extremely knowledgeable regarding neighborhoods, house values, lending policies, really anything related to real estate. I highly recommend them for anyone looking to sell or purchase a home. read more

Both David & Alisa Krohn exceeded my expectations when they sold my home in Burbank. After the first "buyer" backed out it went back on market. The second and final "buyer" paid $75,000 more than the first "buyer." The Krohn's were professional from the listing to the closing. The attention to detail was took my breath away. Escrow closed within 30 days. These folks have take it to the next level they are the Property Masters! read more

This is a fantastic real estate company to work with. I have used them for a few different transactions that have all turned out better than expected. The owners are very knowledgeable and good people. They are extremely generous when it comes to supporting our community, especially the local schools. I recently referred my dad to David at property Masters to sell my grandparents home in Shadow Hills. This was a home that my father grew up in and my grandparents lived at for more than 50 years. Needless to say, there were a lot of emotions attached to this transaction and it needed to be handled very delicately. Fortunately David and Alisa Krohn were the perfect ones for the job. Thoughtful, caring and patient with great results. read more

The team at property masters should be commended for their efforts in helping my family find a home. Anyone who could manage to show me so many properties along with my 4 young kids in tow deserves an award. They were never pushy, always patient and even helped shepherd my kids. Most importantly they never gave up or tried to push us into doing anything we weren't happy with. Erik, David thank you again! read more

I don't typically write reviews, but the team at Property Masters jumped through hoops for my family, so deserve the time. In an already tight (and badly bid-up) real estate market, we had unique needs and weren't willing to overpay. They went above and beyond to try and find us a home, including mass-mailings, cold-callings and networking with local builders. When other agents in the past had quit on us, they didn't give up until we were done - and even after the contract was signed, they kept on top of everything until we successfully closed. Erik even arranged and paid for the first cleaning on our pool so we didn't have to deal with it right away.. I would heartily recommend them. read more

Property Masters Realty in Glendale are top notch. They are readily available at any time and they get back to you quickly, which we all know is key when dealing with real estate. Most of my dealings were with David Krohn & Erik Reppe. They are professional, calm, collected, and smart...all qualities that are essential when in the middle of escrow. They not only put up with my million phone calls and emails, they really made me feel better about each of my concerns and did whatever they could do to calm my fears. When we were up against deadlines, they called everyone they needed to call to follow up on statuses and make things happen. read more

We had a poor experience moving into a rental this company represented. We were encouraged to bump our start date to be back to back the the prior tenant as a way of making our application more competitive. I didn't realize this meant that the property would not be move in ready come the first day of our lease. Carpets reeked of cat pee, trash still on the side if the house, overall not clean, and a bunch of stuff in the garage that was not accounted for at all on the lease. The owner also returned the prior tenants their whole deposit. So when I asked the property master manager what we could do about any of it he basically gave me two options. Deal with it, or don't take the keys. Not taking the keys was obviously not an option since we had been planning this move in date for some time. I then had to day one call the owner and work it out with them, with no help from the property company that this owner relied on. Great way to start off your relationship with a new landlord. The same agent just blatantly lied about not being able to smell the reeking carpet. We ended up paying 1300 out of pocket my first day on the property just to make the master bedroom livable. The reason for two stars and not one is they were fine with the paper work. So watch out and make sure there is decent time so they can adequately clean the place, if they do at all. read more
