This company used to our go to for propane needs and services but since their sale their service has been terrible at best and I had to drive to their location to try to get a delivery as they don't answer their phone anymore. The gentleman, and I use that term loosely, who was in the parking lot wearing their new sweatshirt wad rude and totally NO HELP. He said to keep daialing their number until someone answered, even though the voicebox is full and not accepting calls. He said "thst's not my problem ". At last minute when I had no hot water the lady on the phone was a tremendous help to me. She quoted me a price and I paid it over the phone and she had a driver there filling up my tank in a matter of a few hours. Great customer service and the driver was very nice too!!! read more

I drove by at 9:30 am and the lights were off so once I got home, I googled Propane, Etc. because I got an estimate from them previously to purchase a tank and fill it with a load of propane. I saw the negative review about customer service but poo poo'ed it, being that it was only one review. I also saw that online they advertised that on Saturdays they were open from 10-2 pm. My home is in Ocean Shores, over 20 miles away. Raining like a mofo, traffic sucks due to clammers, I get back to the store at 1:00 pm (and mind you, I have EVERY INTENTION in purchasing a tank and a load of propane), and the store is CLOSED: the sign on the door says, "open on Saturday by appointment only". It didn't say that when I googled for its Saturday hours. I hate it when a business doesn't update its information online. And now it has lost almost $1,000.00 worth of business, which is what the estimate was. read more

The level of service and expertise that we get from Propane Etc is Top Notch. We have been using Propane Etc for many years and they have always been attentive to our needs with an unparalleled level of personal service. Their service has always been prompt, courteous, and reasonably priced. Yes, gas fireplaces, tanks, and fuel can be expensive. I don't think Propane Etc is the cheapest around, but their prices are within reason and their service is well worth it. I saw a previous post with dissatisfaction of wrong business hours posted online. Propane Etc has their business hours posted on their website on the Contact Us page and they do not list Saturday hours. Whatever hours the previous commenter saw on another website may have been posted by somebody not affiliated with Propane Etc. There are a lot of websites that publish information for various businesses without verifying with those businesses. In fact, there are too many of those aggregator sites for a business to keep up with them all. In closing, Propane Etc id a GREAT company to do business with. read more

We stopped in with a question about our insert and were treated like we were stupid by the guy at the counter. We have had Propane Etc. out to our house twice to repair small problems with our fireplace but it has never worked quite right and they don't seem to know what to do with it. They told us both times just to deal with it the way it is. I don't understand why we should...why can't it be fixed? When we stopped in to ask a question we got the same attitude. No way, too much competition for me to waste my time and money with this company. I am going elsewhere and would advise anyone else to do the same. read more

Vacationing from the Phoenix area when the propane tanks of our trailer quit feeding, we went to have them refilled and were told that the tanks were out of date, we searched for replacement tanks at a number of hardware stores and found none available, as we drove toward Aberdeen my wife spotted Propane Etc where we found the tanks we needed at a reasonable price, the gentleman that helped me noted that the old tanks had gas remaining and recommended that the regulator could also be a problem, I purchased a regulator, tanks and propane, installed on the trailer and all is well, I am very pleased with the service I received at Propane Etc and would recommend this business. read more

I have used Propane Etc for a few years now and have to say they are the best! They are very kind and helpful, fast and reasonably priced. Just about as fast as I drive up they are ready to help fill my propane tank. I've never had to wait long and always have a pleasant conversation with the person who fills the tank as well as the cashier. I highly recommend Propane Etc for all your propane needs. I purchased a newer home recently in Ocean Shores from an individual that never used the fireplace the four years she lived here. Propane Etc came and set up the tank and serviced the fireplace when I moved in. Unfortunately, due to the general contractor who built the house, I had an older model propane fireplace installed that cannot vent correctly and hence, I can no longer use it due to the gas smell in the home. The owner, Bret, who I have spoken to many times, is very professional and courteous, and even though they couldn't help fix the stove venting problem, I will keep them in mind when I am ready to install a new stove in the future. WARNING! the owner is not people friendly towards low income people. We pay a $50. a month payment because I cannot afford anymore on disability and been making payments for sometime and when we are running out the owner refuses to give us any more unless we pay more. This is not a company to deal with when you are on disability because they don't care about you. I will not be Bullied into more payments by an owner who only thinks of himself.
