Monstera Adansonii, mini terrazzo pot, and shop stickers!
    Cristina O.

This is the cutest little nursery I've been to and wish I had taken some photos of the shop! I was Impressed with the selection of plants and the humongous moss pole they made out of the stores pillar with their shop's beautiful Thai Constellation(not for sale) attached. I am new to taking care of plants, so I was happy extremely happy to meet Coal, who was super knowledgeable and passionate about plants. Also, I left the shop with a cute little Monster Adansonii and a little terrazzo pot. Thanks for making my first experience a great one, Coal!

Choosing Propagate as our wedding venue was the easiest decision we made (my fiance proposed here earlier in the year so it already held such a special place in our hearts). We knew we were in good hands with the team, and somehow, Propagate still exceeded every single expectation. Through the entire planning process, Bryan and the team made us feel supported, seen, and celebrated. We are so impressed by the attention to detail, the clear and thorough communication, and the genuine care. Propagate pulls off SO many events with such grace and organization, and somehow go above and beyond for each and every one. Not once did we feel like "just another couple" or "just another Saturday event". Every interaction felt personal, intentional, and full of heart and our wedding day was truly the most beautiful day (both emotionally AND aesthetically) of our lives. With a venue so beautiful, so little is needed as far as decorations which is a huge win. The team was so also open and accommodating to everything we did end up bringing in and making it work. To walk away from our wedding with a deepened sense of community feels like the biggest win ever. We will forever sing praises to Propagate and the team here. And we look forward to being able to attend and participate in more of the awesome events hosted here now that the wedding planning has concluded. We are already thinking of what the next life milestone we can put together a celebration for at this venue! We cannot recommend this venue and team enough.

I am in the process of redoing my home office and have a macrame plant hanging wall. Looking on my Yelp app, I thought I would check this place out while I was exploring midtown. Propagate is a very cool plant shop that sells indoor plants and outdoor plants. Nice selection but prepared to pay for it! I was going to buy a tiny 2" plant and it was $14, I just couldn't bring myself to do it. They normally go for about $8 each. I did buy a small fern and another one (forgot the name). They are very happily living with me now. Masks are required (as they should be of this writing - hello delta variant) and the service is helpful. I could see how people could get addicted to plant life - plants are peaceful, keep you company and give you oxygen! I would recommend stopping by, but be prepared to spend some $$$ for the experience.

Glass pot! Would you call this a pot?? Hmmmmmm :)

Great spot for your plant needs! Propagate is a small shop packed with various plants. Succulents, air plants, tropical plants, etc. They have such a wide array of plants in different sizes. They also sell soil, decorative pots, and other plant accessories. The staff is super helpful with queries, so don't hesitate to ask them your questions. There's a limit of 6 people at a time with COVID restrictions and masks are required.

A hipsters jungle oasis: cute plants, but pricey... What a cute shop and right here in midtown! There is often a line out front on the weekends, as the shop is strict about social distancing guidelines, but it's worth the wait. A wide selection of well cared for plants and trendy pots. But the staff are not very friendly and the prices are high, otherwise this is a great addition to the neighborhood.

See the white cubbies on the bottom rows? That's where they have different souls, sands, and rocks for you to make whatever it is you need

I absolutely love the little DIY station! Amanda was super friendly and we really enjoyed talking about plants with her. Obsessed with this place.

You can purchase a scoop (or scoops) of soil or moss if you need it. Super handy if you live in a tiny apartment.

My friend bought me a plant a few months ago and I managed to keep it alive, so I'm looking for another plant to add to my collection. I saw that Propagate opened and I wanted to support small business. Plus, I wanted to take a few picture for Instagram. I know, I'm awful. I read a review earlier that the staff person totally ignored them while they were in the store so when I went in I went in with that thought in the back of my head. But I was never acknowledged when I went in either. There was one staff person working there when I went in and there were two other people in there while I was in there. I didn't get any sort of acknowledgement when I walked in, not even "welcome", "hi", or "I'll be with you in a minute". I was there for a good five minutes and it's not like they didn't see me - it's not a huge store. I genuinely had questions and went in with the intention of purchasing a plant. I left empty handed and disappointed with the lack of customer service. They have a good selection I guess. I'm new to the plant game so I don't know much. They can drill a hole in a pot if you need it for $2 and they also have dirt/moss you can purchase by the scoop if you need a little bit and don't want to buy a full bag which is cool. It's nice for pictures but in my opinion that's about it.

Owner Leticia should probably talk to owner Angelina and get their facts straight and their story straight. Please note that I did not have a event venue contract with them, but they were more than happy to take my $450 cash for the beverage service that was never provided. They weren't making me sign a separate contract for that.

It was rainy and cold. My date had a North Face down jacket the whole time. I was in shorts and a tee shirt as it wasn't cold outside but turned instantly. We sat at a table that was wobbling and had to shove 10 napkins under the leg to stabilize it's rocking. We were only two tables out of 15 tables available. We were seated and after about 10 minutes we were introduced to the waiter. We asked for water and a wine list. He came back with our waters and asked what we would care to order. We placed our order and requested a bottle of wine. I also requested that the overhead gas heater be turned on, he said he would check. We were watching the other table get their wine and beer and wondered where our bottle of wine was. Our order came out after about 20 minutes and we enjoyed the food. We ordered a pizza and a chicken Parm sandwich. When the order arrived , we were not given any plates so we had to use napkins to set our slices on. We were 3/4 through the meal and the water and the waiter came by to check on the meal with us, asked if we needed anything else and realized he forgot the wine. Since we were almost done we canceled the wine order. The heater was never turned on and we were cold. This was a very poor dining experience needless to say. In this day and age of expensive prices and servers expecting a minimum of 25% we left very deflated. Now, to the credit of the server he did send two glasses of wine over as an apology for the mishap. But, I must say we left with half the meal in a box because the heaters were not turned on. I can't say I'll be returning anytime soon. The attention to detail was not present from the staff.
