We started off our meal with Tatin di sfoglia ai funghi porcini tomino caldo, panna acida alle erbe e cardoncelli. Basically, (although there was nothing basic about this dish) it was a little pie made with mouth watering Porcini Mushrooms, with a cream sauce and cheese. For the main dish, I had pizzoccheri alla salvia erbette rupestri, patate e Bitto d'alpeggio. Pasta made with herbs, potatoes and a cheese sauce. I can't even put into words how amazing this dish was. We had some wine from the region as well, which was amazing. The team of servers were fantastic. Not only did they speak English if you prefer, but they are funny and keep you smiling. Helpful in determining what would best suit your taste buds and dietary needs! I was seated outside in the charming alley, with a beautiful historical building in my direct view. The service and food was excellent. My waiter recommended options based on what I wanted and for one person. I ordered delicious white wine, the breaded scallops, seafood and vegetable linguine (sub white sauce instead of the red sauce), and a caramel semifreddo. They also gave me a lemoncello to polish off the meal. I loved every minute and the staff was very friendly. Highly recommended for a delicious seafood meal in Como - they are known for their seafood.
