They didn't have time when I could make it but let me squeeze in anyhow. I met this man, (probably Dave as the other post says 'cause he explained that he doesn't shake hands for religious reasons and I am totally respectful of that!) and he was most gracious. We had a deep interview, they asked all about my experience, my strengths and lots of things clearly geared to evaluate if I had enough experience and was an emotionally stable person who they can rely on to care for children. That made me feel so secure knowing they don't just want staff, but good people who love kids and lead clean lives. We talked about my skills, random jobs I have held, why I left them (I even told him why I got fired for coming late, and he said that was when I was teen so he has more faith in me now!), my family, my passions, etc. In the end, he told me quite honestly that I simply did not have the experience they need as a teacher and could only consider an assistant position but it doesn't make enough money for me, which is true. He praised me for trying my best and I spent 20 minutes discussing how to go about getting that experience. He gave me, a total stranger of his time to help me!!! Though I did not end up getting a job, I love the place! I got a tour with the director and she was wonderful too! When I saw the post from that other girl, I had to show my gratitude by putting my story out there. I don't know what her issue is, but I sure don't believe they offered her a job. She must be pissed at not getting a job... come on.

Now, besides that this place has a number of amazing teachers and assistant teachers who are very supportive of the children and families that they serve. They have an amazing parent board and they have quite possibly the BEST supportive community I've ever seen between the staff, parents, and families. And the children learn A LOT through through play and natural environments. I have worked there and it was THE BEST preschool that I've worked at for both the staff and children's experiences. Plus, the fact that many of the teachers that work there have been there for YEARS which tells you even the staff loves their jobs and working with your children.
