My almost two year old talks about his teacher Ms. Ally all the time and loves all his teachers so much! Both teachers and the school admin team are warm, friendly and always accommodating. The school provides snacks and lunch which saves me a ton of prep time at home and have several additional enrichment classes that are all included in the cost. Also, the playgrounds are BEAUTIFUL and so much FUN. They even take the kids out in the winter which I feel like rarely happened where we went previously. I highly recommend this school!

My children both LOVE to go to school and speak so highly of their teachers. My older son gets upset when I pick him up early as he would stay till close if he had it his way! This is a testament to the teachers who make it a safe, fun, interactive and happy place for children to learn and grow. My son who is in preschool comes home eager to tell me about the Science experiments that he participated in, brings home arts and crafts on a daily basis and is able to identify and write all of his letters and numbers. The staff takes such a nurturing approach with the children. I can remember when my younger son was in the infant room and a colic baby, how calm and supportive the staff were with him and with me. They are so willing to meet your baby/toddler where they are and provide support for their individual needs. The director is very approachable and always available to talk about your child's behavioral and social emotional progress. She truly puts the children first and it is evident in her staff as well. Their kind, empathetic and patient demeanor is what makes them so wonderful. I always say it takes a village to raise children and I am just so grateful that the staff at TLCC are part of ours!

I'm a public school teacher by profession, so understand the need to put my confidence in the teacher to make the right educational guidance for my son. To that end, I'm very happy with the gains my child has made in his year at the Children's House of Montessori. He has flourished socially, his self-monitoring/self-sufficient skills has been noticeably, and is even potty training well! Ha. Highly recommend taking a tour and meeting the very seasoned and dedicated teachers.

My kids started in the infant room and moved up through the preschool room and every teacher/helper was so kind and gave such great attention to each child. In addition, Amy was always so flexible with scheduling. It made life much easier because I could always depend on Duck Pond to help me with arrangements.

From early in my pregnancy, we did a lot of reading about day cares, visited several, but we knew when we visited Duck Pond that was where our Jack would end up. We clicked instantly with Amy, the director, who strikes the perfect balance between down-to-earth and professional. She is caring, trustworthy, and always reasonable. So we chose Duck Pond for Jack when he was a mere 2 months old, and he just had his last day there (due to moving) 2 years later. Duck Pond's atmosphere feels like family, and we loved that if we wanted to talk to someone about Jack's needs (he had an anaphylactic egg allergy for a while) or if we had scheduling or billing questions, there was no corporate infrastructure to navigate. We loved that it was a family run center, that every staff member knew Jack by name and was excited to see him in the morning. It's important to note that teacher turnover is low, which was fabulous because Jack became very attached to them. All along, I have genuinely felt that Jack was loved and cared for. But this became even more apparent as he learned to walk, and would run excitedly in in the morning, and then when he learned to talk and was able to tell us how much he loves his Duck Pond friends and teachers. We'll miss Duck Pond but remain extremely grateful for the wonderful early care they gave our son and the peace of mind they gave his parents.

They didn't have time when I could make it but let me squeeze in anyhow. I met this man, (probably Dave as the other post says 'cause he explained that he doesn't shake hands for religious reasons and I am totally respectful of that!) and he was most gracious. We had a deep interview, they asked all about my experience, my strengths and lots of things clearly geared to evaluate if I had enough experience and was an emotionally stable person who they can rely on to care for children. That made me feel so secure knowing they don't just want staff, but good people who love kids and lead clean lives. We talked about my skills, random jobs I have held, why I left them (I even told him why I got fired for coming late, and he said that was when I was teen so he has more faith in me now!), my family, my passions, etc. In the end, he told me quite honestly that I simply did not have the experience they need as a teacher and could only consider an assistant position but it doesn't make enough money for me, which is true. He praised me for trying my best and I spent 20 minutes discussing how to go about getting that experience. He gave me, a total stranger of his time to help me!!! Though I did not end up getting a job, I love the place! I got a tour with the director and she was wonderful too!
