Not saying it's an overall horrible place but even for a daycare that charges more then what they pay their workers, there's definitely happened more bad things here then good. If I could rate working here 0 stars I would but I can't unfortunately. The infant rooms are a solid 9.5/10 but from the pre toddler rooms that call each other names and argue in the rooms in front of babies to toddler 1's where the woman gossip about how wasted they're going to get on the weekends to toddler 2's which fairly have caring enough staff but some temporary staff that go into that room never clean. Two's ? Good Lord.. don't even get me started. One of the leads in that room currently talks to the kids worst then if they were prisoners poor babies. Pre School is also a fairly well staffed room but Pre-K? The lead goes from room to room talking junk about each room to other rooms as if they cared, talks junk about the boss just talk junk about the staff to the boss, she's okay with the kids, just wished she didn't speak so explicitly in front of them. But from kids fingers being cut, to kids getting stitches in their eyebrows to the Director arguing with parents over brightwheel and sending out COVID payments just to get them returned from the banks because they didn't take off "taxes" and sending them back into the accounts of the staff is crazy. And let's not forget how 75% of the staff, take drugs definitely not off the clock :) Hopefully Gina starts making better choices on how she hires people or at least not hire the same kind of people in the new daycare she has in Shelton. P.S. Gina, there's still sheet rock falling off behind some shelves in a couple classrooms if you happen to notice which I'm sure you haven't which was supposed to be resolved the week that you closed in August where you barely did any adjustments to the classrooms.

I was once a worker the over work their staff. Gina is incredibly rude. They're still employed after physically harming children. Do not enroll your child. The care my child while enrolled in the twos classroom has been unacceptable. As an educator, your job is to teach, manage emotions, redirect, and provide language to those who do not have it. My child was dealt with aggression by his teachers in the twos classroom. They belittle, mishandle and sometimes ignore the children. I saw on live video, One of the teachers blocked her face with her hand, while a child was crying in front of her. I understand challenging behaviors can be frustrating but it's never your job to apply force to anyone's kid. If your goal isn't to make a difference in the early stages of development, then this is not the place for you and you should not be working with kids of any age group. There are teachers who witness this treatment and do not speak up. The twos classroom consists of Andreana Stevenson, Angelique Clark and Jasmin Cardona. Sometimes Chantal is in these classrooms and she also should not be around children, she has fallen asleep while on the clock. The cameras aren't monitored enough by management, they do not pop into classes enough.

I don't understand how this place is so highly rated, and cost such a high amount for the amount of compaints I received from my wife when picking up the kids and from my 3 year old herself. Ranging from my daughter crying to me about "writing the WRONG way" because she is left handed and being forced to use her right hand, to the teacher (Ms.Nicole specifically) not allowing her to use her blanket during nap time because she didn't want to sleep and was cold. This place is not nearly worth the amount of money it cost. Not to mention just the bad business aspect of it as well. I took a week long vacation, informed them I was going to be gone for the full week and my kids would not be attending that week and was still charged for the full-time service charge. I can understand charging me part-time for the week because I was still taking a roster slot, but not the full time charge, that's just bad business in my opinion trying to squeeze every dime out of their customers. On the note of charging your customers for every dime possible, during the one on one visit where they go over every aspect of the school they inform you of all the during school activities they do. Ranging from soccer, sports, dance classes, cooking classes and tons of great sounding things to get your children's creativity flowing. What they don't inform you of is they charge you for these classes extra, and pump it into your kids so they come home begging to do these classes. They also have a no discipline rule and rarely inform you when something goes wrong. My daughter was smacked in the face with a toy and came home with a large black eye and I was not given an "accident report" until I exclaimed my concern her eye upon picking her up. My children were only in their care for roughly 6 months and it was a terrible experience. If not for my promotion at work and allowing my wife to become a stay at home Mom I would not have kept my kids there and would of returned to a smaller situation that is more hands on like a home daycare. I can not stress enough how much parents should avoid this place! I've never put a review on Yelp.com before and made an account just to warn parents of this place because they should be aware of it. It's not a good place to put your kids. If even ONE customer decides not to participate in Kindercare because of this review then my 15 minutes writing this was not wasted.

This place has gone downhill--fast…read more I brought my daughter here about five years ago to teach her how to swim and dive, and back then, it was a welcoming, family-friendly environment. Fast-forward to today, and I hardly recognize the place. They've rearranged the swim lanes to run directly into the deep end, and now your kid needs to pass a swim test just to enter that area. So forget about teaching your child to swim or dive unless they're already trained--which defeats the whole point. A lifeguard actually told me you're not allowed to dive in the deep end. Think about that for a second. It gets worse. I heard a lifeguard screaming at a kid to slow down. Not correcting, not redirecting--screaming. Then I was told I was being "too rowdy" for playing with my kids in the pool. Not roughhousing. Not causing problems. Just having fun. Apparently that's not allowed anymore either. At that point, we just got out and left. I canceled my membership that same day. For the amount of money people pay for this place, you'd expect professional staff and a supportive environment--not a team of overzealous teenagers policing families like it's a boot camp. If you're looking to quietly swim laps, sure--it'll work for you. But if you have a family, save your money and go somewhere else. This place has become downright hostile to parents and kids.
