This daycare is probably the most caring and involved childcare center you could find in the area…read more My daughter started coming here when she was about 5 months old. As a first time mom, I was hesitant to start going back to work and to have her start going to daycare. Mrs. Luni and her wonderful staff set me at ease when I would leave her and I knew my daughter was not only in great hands but also learning and making new friends. I have watched my daughter transition into each classroom as she got older and adjust to her new teachers. Each staff member has always been attentive and have gone above and beyond to let me know how my little girl is doing while I'm at work. As a first time mom, it's so important that you trust the people that watch your children and also work with them to really provide your child all the knowledge and skills they need to succeed. I am so thankful to Creative Minds for being a pivotal piece in my daughter's development and for working with my crazy-obsessive mom requests ( "How much did she eat?" " Did she sleep okay?"). I remember for my daughter's second birthday, Melissa, the assistant director, let my daughters father and I use their break room during my daughter's naptime to start wrapping her gifts and preparing for her birthday party at the school. They even offered to help us and took pictures of the party for us. I have very few regrets in life and one of them was taking my daughter out of the school for a short period of time. When I moved to Westport I had taken my daughter out and placed her in Pumpkin Preschool of Westport. After three months, we came right back to Creative Minds because of how unhappy my daughter was in that horrible school. ( Please do not send your kids to the Pumpkin Preschool of Westport!! they care more about their money than they do about your child's well-being and care). I know better now than to ever make this mistake again. As soon as my daughter started going back to Creative Minds, it was as if she never left. She was smiling again, she remembered the friends she started with in the infant classroom, and we got to work with Luni and her wonderful staff again! Grateful is an understatement for what I feel about everything the daycare has done for my family and I. They have taught me on a daily basis how to be a better mother and to be the best mother I can be to my little girl. There are such wonderful daycares in the Fairfield County area and I'm sure that some of them may do some of the things that Creative Minds will do but if you want a extraordinary care, a daycare you can look at as an extended family for your child's most important years, Creative Minds is it. -Cece

I literally cannot recommend Little Angels Daycare highly enough!…read more My son has been going to this daycare since he was nine weeks old. He's now 19 months old and this daycare is like his second family. It's hard being a working parent, but it makes it a little easier when my son's face lights up every morning as he's greeted at the door by Esther and his friends. It gives me peace to know that when I can't be with him he's safe, loved, and cared for. The daycare is super clean and a welcoming environment for the kiddos. It's located on a quiet and safe side street in Bridgeport and has a beautiful fenced-in yard. The adult:kid ratio is amazing, so they get a lot of love and attention. They do activities with the kids, celebrate their birthdays, and help them grow in a structured and supportive environment. My son is confident and meeting all his milestones. He's also developing language rapidly because he gets to socialize with kids who are preschool age. It's super affordable compared to other options in the area, especially considering the quality of the program. The hours are great and there's flexibility day-to-day based on a flat rate, which is really convenient. They accept Care 4 Kids and have a food program, so food and formula are included. They feed the kids healthy homemade food; my son actually prefers the food at daycare and eats more there than at home! The staff is great at communicating and they are professional while still being relatable and kind. You and your kid won't be just a number here like at some larger/corporate daycare facilities. The attached pictures are just a few of the many they have sent me. I'm so grateful to have found this daycare - literally a 10/10!

I visited a few establishments and I didn't feel comfortable leaving my child in certain facilities based on what my daughters relationship with staff members looked like. My husband and I choose Three little bears daycare and our daughter has been there since the opening of this establishment and I have seen so much growth within my child's development and also the care the staff gives daily has been great! There are always updates sent directly to my phone with photos, meal times, bathroom breaks, naps, daily curriculum. I love that I can send messages directly to the staff when needed and importantly how much care, support, and attentiveness everyone has. ***A bonus for Families in need of early drop off times for work, this facility opens at 6am and closes at 6!!! Alina's establishment is unprofessional and unethical, the majority of the time I would drop off my daughter the babies were unattended while staff answered the door. my daughter was constantly sent home sick. one day she even disclosed a peers name and his sickness. nothing is confidential bc you're business is always put out there. on Many occasions under age teens we're watching the children. too many unplanned closing on short notice and never adheres to rules in handbook nor Ct state regulations. I took her out the program bc my daughter was in a soiled diaper every afternoon. and I was told by Alina, herself there was no one that can change her. Disgusting response as a director/owner.

This daycare has got to be one of the worst daycares in the history of daycare. The woman who owns…read morethis daycare also owns another one in Norwalk. She is a terrible business owner...i.e. does not return phone calls or e-mails, does not follow up on parents' concerns, and does not hire properly trained staff. I have had the unfortunate experience of dealing with those people at both locations. I did not know she owned the Norwalk location until after my child was enrolled and started to notice the same issues. They do not have the system to notify parents of weather related closings, you have to watch the news to figure it out early in the morning. Sometimes, they do not notify the news people until late by which time I'm already on my way there. I have made it there twice only to realize they closed. The so called administrator calls your child by last name as if she is in the military. They allow the children to hit each other back. If a parent ever complain to the administrator, she goes back and tell the teacher who then looks at you funny and won't acknowledge your presence. The Norwalk location (bright beginnings academy) is not a sanitary place for children. There is almost never any hand soap in the bathrooms, toilet paper is sometimes kept on the toilet's water reservoir or it's on the floor. Some of the teachers do not encourage children to wash their hands. On so many occasions, I had to make sure my child's hands and face were clean before leaving the premise as it was not done from lunch time. Oh did I mention that you also have to beg for your receipt once you have paid your weekly contribution...don't even mention getting your tax document! Do yourself a favor and stay away from those people. If you care for your child's wellbeing, go somewhere else, even though they charge less than the average daycare.

Not saying it's an overall horrible place but even for a daycare that charges more then what they pay their workers, there's definitely happened more bad things here then good. If I could rate working here 0 stars I would but I can't unfortunately. The infant rooms are a solid 9.5/10 but from the pre toddler rooms that call each other names and argue in the rooms in front of babies to toddler 1's where the woman gossip about how wasted they're going to get on the weekends to toddler 2's which fairly have caring enough staff but some temporary staff that go into that room never clean. Two's ? Good Lord.. don't even get me started. One of the leads in that room currently talks to the kids worst then if they were prisoners poor babies. Pre School is also a fairly well staffed room but Pre-K? The lead goes from room to room talking junk about each room to other rooms as if they cared, talks junk about the boss just talk junk about the staff to the boss, she's okay with the kids, just wished she didn't speak so explicitly in front of them. But from kids fingers being cut, to kids getting stitches in their eyebrows to the Director arguing with parents over brightwheel and sending out COVID payments just to get them returned from the banks because they didn't take off "taxes" and sending them back into the accounts of the staff is crazy. And let's not forget how 75% of the staff, take drugs definitely not off the clock :) Hopefully Gina starts making better choices on how she hires people or at least not hire the same kind of people in the new daycare she has in Shelton. P.S. Gina, there's still sheet rock falling off behind some shelves in a couple classrooms if you happen to notice which I'm sure you haven't which was supposed to be resolved the week that you closed in August where you barely did any adjustments to the classrooms.
