The rooms are clean, brightly colored, and engaging... and there even is an indoor playground! My daughter has been there since she was 4 months and from day 1, I felt extremely comfortable. Miss Lucy in the infant room is amazing! My daughter has grown and developed so quickly because of the infant activities they do in the classroom. They don't just let the babies sit around all day and do nothing. Always learning, moving, interacting, and having fun! Thank you to the staff for everything you do to make our kids happy and safe!!

Yellowpages for instance she gets one bad review and days later she had FOUR positive reviews within the same day! Whoa must be a very popular place to get all those reviews in the same day seeing 3 of them were edited. A little suspicious.. it's quite interesting if you read every other negative comment they all say the Director is the issue. Perhaps she just needs to be more respectful and there wouldn't be so many negative comments about her. Then she wouldn't have to post all the fake reviews to cover herself. Save yourself that hassle and go to ANY other school! If you would like to see more realistic reviews, search on the Shelton Facebook pages, and put Apple Tree. You will see what people truly think about the school.

The director Jess and the finance gal, Christian are prompt, professional, and friendly. The pricing is fair in regard to how expensive daycare is in general. They have an in-house kitchen/dietician/lunch lady and offer hot lunch to babies all the way up to kindergarten age. My daughter has eaten things like Spanish rice and beans and ham, or raviolis, or even chicken sausage and veggies. The snacks are healthy and tasty too. I enjoy that she gets to taste all different types of food. They have fun and educational age appropriate crafts and activities for the kids. The teachers are kind and welcoming. Miss Lasheekah and miss Olivia are my kids favorite teachers. The older children do centers or stations and are always doing something fun or educational. You can talk to staff or pay your tuition all in an app set up with the school. Tuition also covers diapers and milk . They are also allergy friendly. The children get to go outside and play often too. They have their own fenced in backyards with gardens for the kids to work on and learn . All in all, it is a clean, safe, healthy environment for children to learn and play .

More than four years later, both of our children are now part of the program (Preschool and Infant/Toddler) and love it there! One of the crucial elements we sought when reviewing childcare options was safety - and I appreciate the care and attention implemented to make sure all students are well protected at all times. Our children feel loved for and cared for by the amazing staff! Their school readiness curriculum is wonderful, taking the time to teach students the essential skills to prepare them for Kindergarten - and beyond. Hands-on programs, engaging activities and events bring their curriculum to life - and we look forward to hearing about everything our children did each day! Highly recommend HB!

They taught her how to communicate when she was very young with sign language and now, she is blossoming with her language skills. She was required to wear a helmet at school and was in physical therapy prior to starting Honey Bear. After much collaboration with her physical therapist and teaching staff, Infant and Toddler teachers adapted to her needs and helped her graduate from the helmet and physical therapy. As a staff member who works at Honey Bear, I have not only seen my child grow, but I have seen many other children grow through the love and compassion of qualified teachers and staff, who make us feel like a family.

They ensure success by fostering an environment that helps children learn and grow. Their dedication to the children is unsurpassed. I am a mother of 2 children, who are both currently enrolled in the school. I cannot say enough about Susanna Wesley (aka SWS) and it's staff. One of the most unique attributes of the school is the dedicated Music and Movement program, in which children participate through music and physical activity each day they are in school. The teacher who runs that program is an absolute jewel and SWS is so blessed to have her on board. As a parent, I feel welcomed and a true part of my child's early childhood education. I know my children are getting the best care and academic foundation to prepare them for elementary school. I love that there are dedicated classrooms for each level (3 yr olds, 4 yr olds,etc.). No more than 12 students per class. I thought that was a huge plus because the smaller classrooms allow the children to focus and build relationships with other children. I have noticed how much my children have grown. They are confident, independent and respectful of others. Though I'd like to take full credit on that, I know much of those skills have been gained from the caring teachers at SWS. I encourage you to contact the director and tour the Susanna Wesley School. You will not be disappointed!!!!

Good evening, I am writing as a deeply angry and disgusted…read moreparent. Today, when I picked up my son Leonardo, I was informed he had SLEPT ON THE COLD TILE FLOOR because he was "hot." That explanation alone is UNACCEPTABLE, but it gets worse. He was WET when I picked him up this afternoon--his hair, his pants, his coat--completely soaked. And when I asked why, not a single staff member could give me an answer. "I don't know" is NOT an acceptable response when a child is returned to their parent in that condition. The lack of accountability, the carelessness, and the indifference are beyond disappointing--they are DISGUSTING. As someone with experience working in multiple daycares and schools, I know that if a 3-year-old refuses to sleep on a cot, you don't allow them to lay on a cold, dirty floor like an animal. You comfort them, you redirect them, and you provide care. The fact that this didn't happen is a complete failure on your part. Even a dog gets a bed. My son deserved far better than this. And yes, I will say it--had Leonardo not been a young Black boy, I believe this situation may have been handled with more compassion and urgency. He was neglected. There's no other word for it. Let me ask you this: How would you feel if you found out your child took a nap on the cold floor? Or picking him up wet and not exactly given an actual clear explanation ? If he was uncomfortable, if he was upset, if something happened--WHY wasn't I called? As his mother, I should have been informed immediately. Instead, he was left in that condition, and no one took responsibility. This is not just poor care. This is unacceptable. This is disgusting. This is neglect. Leonardo will NOT be returning to your center. I will also be reporting this incident to corporate and taking further steps as necessary. I expect a written explanation, not excuses. Do better!!!!!
