After investigation he has not only reached out to individuals who write negative reviews to bash them, but he has also threatened lawsuits to them as well. This is an owner who can't take any accountability for their issues or disagreements others may have with how he does business. Outdated practice with an owner who's just as outdated. LOUIS BONITO "The Owner" picked up the phone quickly. I was interested in taking HIS class, & planned on Getting my "GUARD CARD" and wanted to find out more information about it, and what the process was. He was very polite on the phone and explained how the classes worked & what the process was. It was $500.00 for a 1-day class. So, after speaking with Louis on the phone for about 12 minutes, I wanted to move forward with the class, so LOUIS set up a 1-day class for me. Lou promptly asked me how I planned on paying for the class. I told him I will put it on my Credit Card. "THANK GOD I DID NOT USE A BANK CARD, or PAY IN CASH" I WOULD HAVE LOST THE ENTIRE $500 amount I paid! It WAS PAID & POSTED on my Credit Card JAN. 19TH @ 1:49:40sec. HERE IS MY TRANSACTION ID # 43886871172/ AUTH. CODE 07975P/ TO PROVE THIS IS REAL FEEDBACK! My class was scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 31st, 2023 @ 8:00 AM. We left off on a very good note after that 1st phone call. Then, a multitude of events took place in my life over the weekend making me UNAVAILABLE to make the Jan. 31st appointment with Louis. THIS IS WHERE EVERYTHING CHANGED! I called Louis back within 3 BUSINESS DAYS, to initially change the date to a later time so I could get my affairs together. At this point, his ATTITUDE TOTALLY CHANGED! I POLITELY ASKED for a refund of my $500.00 until I was able to give a definite date to take the class. Louis became agitated when I asked for a chargeback on my credit card! HE WAS NOT WILLING TO! I explained to him, that in the State of CT. you have 3 days to CANCEL ANY contract, appointment, work, Etc. as long as the appointment is canceled within 72 hours of ANY appointment, contract, or work to be performed or done! I explained THIS to Lou, & he just became more agitated and told me that was his POLICY. HE TOLD ME NO REFUNDS, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES! I EXPLAINED TO HIM IT WAS THE LAW, & HE SAID I DON'T CARE! MY APPOINTMENT WAS {EIGHT} DAYS AWAY FROM THE DATE I TRIED TO CANCEL! I said ok, if you want to play games, then I will just DISPUTE IT with my Credit Card! And he got sooo pissed when I said that, he said If I did that he would make sure I would NEVER get my Guard Card! So, That's EXACTLY what I did. I called up my CREDIT CARD & they gave me AN INSTANT CREDIT! THANK GOD I DIDN'T USE A BANK CARD OR I WOULD BE OUT $500.00. So, if ANYONE PLANS ON USING THIS GUY NEVER EVER USE CASH, OR A BANK CARD, BECAUSE YOU WILL 100% GUARANTEED to LOSE YOUR ENTIRE $500!
