I should have read the reviews before booking this testing location to take one of the biggest…read moreexams of my career. This place is a joke. Pervez and the owner were extremely condescending, and verbally attacked me because their information is misleading. The ONLY reason I selected this location is because it clearly states "Free Parking" which recently changed according to them. I called the office after being instructed to move my car to see where I should park. Pervez yelled "Move your car before they tow it, park on the street". Understood, but why does your website say its free parking if it isn't? Places like these rely on people being nonchalant when these things should actually be updated instead of being brushed over. People pay a lot of money to take these exams, and the owner makes millions (this is what he told me) off of these contracts with these companies. Then you're rude to me (Pervez) over the phone and don't take accountability of an error? When I get in the office, he again very rudely says "Turn off your phone" which was inside my bag. As I'm turning off my phone I respond to him "You're being very rude". He replies "I'm being rude? You're not taking this exam here." We go back and fourth for about 5 minutes as to why I'm rude lol, and how I cannot take the exam even though I'm on time and complying with the requests. The owner, who I didn't get his name actually sided with him saying he had me on speaker and I was being rude to him in regards to the parking. Sir, your testing site advertises free parking, when in fact it is not. And when I say something about it I'm told I cannot take my exam anymore. The proctor Pervez also told me they didn't care about my service or my voucher which is what I used to schedule the exam through my company. The worst part of it all is they added a case to my appointment stating I REFUSED TO TURN MY PHONE OFF, which was a complete lie. I already filed a complaint with the company I used to schedule the exam. Luckily, the company allowed me to reschedule my exam with the same voucher. I will find out how to file a complaint against that proctor in particular because I've never received such sexism, and racism. Please schedule your exam elsewhere, and good luck!

The class was about about 4 hours long and they provided all the materials. I compared it to the other classes in manhattan and it's a little more affordable ($95 per class) ...if you think prorated over the number of hours you spend in the class. This was actually my first time learning how to sew overall and they were really informative and answered all my questions. The instructor did speak a little fast but she had no problem if you just raised your hand and was like waaaah? The fabrics that they provided were so pretty and unique vs. the oldie kinds that your grandma used to make your pajama pants when you were 5. After we were done, we were allowed to browse the store (which holds 'overflow' stuff from their boutique store). They had such cute curtains and laundry bags. I loved all of it! They also let me rummage through their GIANT SCRAPS bag. They said I could take anything I want unless there is a piece of clothing accidentally stored in the bag. This was the highlight of my visit because I love to hoard fabrics, pretty papers, ribbons, etc. I was a kid in a candy store. Strongly suggest to go here if you want ideas on how to cute-ify your home :)

And hey! Free cokes, diet cokes, water and coffee!! Course: SQL Level 1 Instructor: Jeanette. She was great. She really knows her stuff. 5 stars for her. The Class: 5 students The Room: Small desks. I"m a pretty big guy but since there was only five of us, I had enough room. That said, if the room was full it would've been very cramped and too close for comfort. They do offer free coffee, coke, diet coke and bottled water though which was a nice bonus. The COMPARE with PACE: I've taken two classes at Pace University in Midtown (Bookkeeping and Quick Books). This was my first at TCC. Pace has cleaner and roomier facilities without a doubt. But for me, it ultimately comes down to the instructors. What did I learn? My TCC instructor, Jeanette, was excellent. Of my two instructors at Pace, one was on par with Jeanette, and was was below par with Jeanette. I learned a ton and Jeanette was great. The desks are tiny, though, and I would've been miserable if there had been a full room. Furthermore, the facilities in general are run down. Look, I'm not expecting the Ritz, but would a carpet cleaning and a fresh coat of paint hurt anyone?
