There are lots of wonderful Promenades in the North of France. And this one here is one of the prettiest we've seen so far.
We just had an amazing lunch at "Le Poisson d'Argent", located in the very west of Cabourg, a bit out of town. We kept the car parked there and walk along this lovely Promenade up to the heart of Cabourg.
It's a very nice, long and wide Promenade. To the west it gets less and less busy the more you get away from Cabourg. Very relaxing and enjoyable. Around Cabourg it's getting even wider, but also busier. Really loads of people around the main square. We do prefer the more quiet sections. But it's a fun place to be and it's a nice long walk.
Always along the pretty and suprisingly quiet beach. It's just a nice place, the Normandy. Along the boardwalk you'll find several free public toilets, parking options, vendors and also playgrounds. After a good lunch it's really a great thing to do. We had a great time and surely will be back next time in the North. read more
