But my experience here was not what I expected. The teachers were pretty cool but other than that the rest was just a pure mess! Too short and too fast, little amount of students, and no information about nothing what's so ever! No exam prepping, no information on how or when to take the exam. I had to figure everything out for myself and to be paying almost $1,500 out of pocket the school should done a better job to ensure that the students are well prepared, even as short as 2 months. Without my knowledge as a medical assistant I could say with confidence that I would not have been confident working in the healthcare field with just these 2 months of education for a phlebotomist tech. I do not recommend if this is your first step into healthcare!

Forget it if your laptop decides to mess up you can't even continue on your mobile phone. I'm a stay at home mom and still could not keep up. Plus, some of my peers aren't where they need to be, so it makes group projects suck. They seem to care more about the money than actual student success. Most of the positive reviews are from years ago. The place used to have a great reputation, but now it's just not the same. Until they sort things out, I wouldn't recommend Austin Coding Academy. There are other coding bootcamps out there with much better reputations and outcomes for a similar price.

The instructor made sure we all had the right setups and tested all of our connections before getting started. So everything went pretty smooth hanging up there on a scarf and maneuvering around like a little a swan. The overall experience was fun. Very relaxing and peaceful wind down at the end.
