Specialties
With our 1-on-1 sports and performance sessions, we help active adults break free from the traditional PT model. If you’ve been told to “just rest” or felt rushed in past clinics, you’ll feel the difference here.
Every 60-minute session is fully one-on-one with a performance therapist who listens and tailors care to you. Our approach blends strength and conditioning rehab, customized exercise programming, hands-on manual therapy (like sports massage, cupping, and myofascial release), and objective testing using state-of-the-art tools like VALD force plates and the Dynamo handheld dynamometer.
Whether you're a runner with knee pain, a Pilates regular with lingering back issues, or someone who's “fit but always hurting,” our goal is to help you move better, stay active, and feel in control again.
We’re active people too—and we understand what it takes to get back to doing what you love without compromise.
Your plan of care is built around you—whether that’s prepping for spin class, dialing in your running mechanics, or building strength that carries into real life.
We believe in long-term solutions—not dependency. Come experience a more personalized, performance-driven way to rehab.
History
Established in 2021.
Project Performance Physical Therapy was founded in 2021 by Dr. Brandon Pascual, a sports and performance physical therapist who was frustrated with the limits of traditional clinics. After years as a personal trainer, he saw firsthand how insurance-based care often ends too soon—before people are truly ready to run, lift, or train again. He created a different kind of experience: one-on-one, 60-minute sessions that combine manual therapy, strength & conditioning rehab, and personalized programming built around real-life goals. What began in an apartment gym has grown into a private, performance-driven facility serving active adults, runners, and athletes throughout San Diego. We don’t just aim to get you out of pain—we help you stay strong, move better, and return fully to the lifestyle you love.
Meet the Business Owner: Brandon P.
I’m Dr. Brandon Pascual, PT, DPT, and I founded Project Performance Physical Therapy to create the kind of care I wish I had during my own recovery. After tearing my ACL, MCL, and meniscus, I saw how traditional PT often ends when pain fades—but not when people are truly ready to run, lift, or train again. Since 2016, I’ve helped active adults—runners, lifters, and fitness lovers—overcome chronic injuries and get back to doing what they love. My sessions combine strength and conditioning, manual therapy, and movement-based rehab tailored to each person’s goals. I believe physical therapy should keep you moving—not take you out of your routine. Outside the clinic, you’ll find me strength training, sprinting with my dog Doug, watching Clippers games, or catching up on Marvel movies.
