I then had lost my step mom and failed vascular lecture 2x. My mistake . I was dropped from the school , and was told i had to pay back my financial aid then can reapply for reentry . Well i was able to pay over $1,000 back and reapplied and wrote a letter i then got a call it was discussed at the monthly meeting and they decided to not let me back in . This place doesn't care about people trying to better their future they care about money only . I've been trying to appeal the decision for a year with no response from the school . Apply at the risk of them acting like they care and support you when they really don't .

Let's talk about the revolving door of instructors and staff. We both got pretty close to a lot of staff and instructors. Most of them admitted they would be leaving shortly and they eventually did. They will tell incoming students exactly what you want to hear. The truth is, the revolving curriculum is so unstructured, students mesh together during different quarters, into classes they're not ready for yet, but the other students are. You're all mixed together, regardless of where you are in progress. Also, Aspen university nursing plan has just been shut down for the SAME EXACT ISSUES occurring here. Currently talking to a friend who is being pushed back because her CPR card wasn't accepted by the school. Even though other students used the same one. The staff doesn't talk to each other, and once instructor might ok something another won't. There is absolutely ZERO structure. Your images will be pass or fail all depending on who is there that day. Good luck!

May 11th, 2024 ** everything was fine until I was randomly and out of nowhere approached by a…read morecouple of racist employee's and threatened and cussed at in a very disrespectful manner. I recommend Spanish and black people who value themselves do not attend this school. They carry a very discriminatory demeanor. Which is surprising being that they do business around a bunch of black and Spanish people. Most of their employee's are white and very hickish, and carry the aura that they get to talk to anyone however they want. Most of the people that thrive and do well here happily without any issues seem to be white. Black and Spanish people in my opinion seem to express a general nuisance and annoyance while going through the program. Some resorting to complete silence and submittance just to make it through without dealing with disrespectful employee's. Some of their employee's stalk around the halls in a very lurking and predatory fashion. Bringing discomfort to some types of students. It is the general expectation that they get to raise their voice and scream and talk to students however they want. Making any sorts of complaints to staff appears to result in extreme backlash and violent outrage toward student. It is my opinion that if racist employees are not removed than the school will be shut down. I would also note that they are requiring students to sqan QR codes for "student satisfaction" and also to clock in and clock out, and QR codes are of course known for cyber security issues. may 14th* After filing a report with the correct authorities I received a phone call from the president whose name is "David" he appears to have been unaware until I made a complaint of the issue, and says specifically he is going to look into it, and I am standing by to wait and see what he does. I have decided to continue to attend the school based on Davids word. I will continue to provide update to review accordingly. may 17th ** It appears that David has kept to his word and has completely changed the situation during the week. It appears thus far that is the issue I had mentioned previously has been corrected, I have not heard yet from past two guys I initially had an issue with, but things have been going well during the week. The teaching is great and I am getting a lot of good welding time in, and I feel more comfortable and able to focus on learning.

Horrible school! Don't bother taking your money here. Veterans, if you are thinking of attending…read morethis school with your benefits, beware! I would not give these people your benefits! One of the instructors acts very vulgar and treats students like complete crap, using profanity, and vulgar language. Some of the students are not even comfortable asking him questions to understand the material of what we learned without him getting mad. He gets angry if a student does not understand something, But it gets worse! To only think that this instructor is bad, the next one we had didn't give a crap about teaching the class, we went over the same refrigeration process for a whole month without going over brazing and soldering, I mean what HVAC school skips Brazing and soldering! He also was always gone and never at class. And when he was at class he decided to have us leave early for the day instead of going over the exact things we have on the curriculum for the phase. This institution is a complete joke, and completely pathetic. And I am reporting this school to the VA. My advice, if you want to learn a trade like HVAC or Electrical, go to a community college out here, yeah it may take a little longer to graduate but at least you are getting the education and resources you need to be successful and actually feel confident in your craft to score a job. Or join the union and get paid to learn the trade, because one thing I do know is this, they won't tolerate lazy instructors and they won't tolerate instructors that use profanity and scare students at the union or community college!

Now my girlfriend's daughter is going to attend (different industry) and I'm looking forward to see how she does by attending school here. The only thing is that for the smaller schools, like the one my girlfriend's daughter attends for actual high school, I wish EVIT offered some sort of shuttle service. The bigger schools have buses but the small schools don't have that luxury.

I am also a student who has an IEP, Autism&ADHD so i tend to forget some stuff, yet my teachers and EVIT seems to not understand or care and without warning penalize me such as (takes pts away, give saturday school,OOO out of school suspension if you dont make it exactly at 8:00 for saturday school at EVIT), WITHOUT WARNING! which hurts me as their student so i am making this review to hopefully show y'all and EVIT this is frustrating as a student and parent. None of my EVIT teachers gave me a paper about expectations everyday in class at the begin of the year, failed multiple times to explain what punishments happens to EVIT students when not in full uniform, doesn't give no info on paper to students like what is the point of my IEP if EVIT just ignores my disabilities .P.S Understand #### Happens.
