I didn't even know this place existed until I got the address from Kaplan's GRE pamphlet. 2.) Service: I tell you the teachers and tutors do a great job relaying the information to you. The tutors especially are patient and thorough. 3.) Price: It can get costly. I got a package for the GRE a.) traditional Classes, b.) tutoring and c.) online classes of around $2,000. Yes, 2 GRAND. It was very quality. This stuff helped me to get into at least a state school like UConn whenever I want to apply there. 4.) Impressions: Getting taught how to take a standardized test is not like traditional learning. It's suppose to help you have the skills to master the process of elimination with multiple choice questions. So once you you learn this, it is recommended that you take the standardized test right away. This is information that you can't hold onto for next year to then take. They tell you this here. I loved this place. It was good.

I passed the PMP certification test last Monday (9/30). It was the first time in my life that I can recall being ecstatic with a rating of Moderately Proficient (all areas). This is a tough exam. The training through Project Management Academy was invaluable in the preparation for the exam (less than two weeks prior). Gary Linn from PMA was the instructor. He was energetic, and motivating. Besides his rapid fire pace, which kept us engaged and on our toes, he brought the theory down to a working level using real life examples from his experience to demonstrate the application of the principles. (This is one area the PMBOK lacks.) The other extremely helpful thing was the many references to what was important for the test itself and the explaination of the common traps into which test takers often fall. Gary was nursing a pretty tough injury during the class but it did not seem to slow him down. If that was what he is like when injured and in pain, then I wonder what he is like in full health. Kudos to Gary and a heartfelt thank you. read more

I took this class in Boston and had Ben Rebeske as an instructor. When I looked at the agenda prior to going, I couldn't believe it would go all day nor if I could pay attention that long. However Ben was a great instructor and kept my attention throughout the 4 days. He also made the whole process of applying and taking the exam as much of a non-issue as possible. I would advise anyone that wants to be certified in project management to look at the Project Management Academy and if possible, take Ben's class. I passed it on the first try! read more

If you are looking for a credible training program that will best prepare you for the PMP; without question Project Management Academy is the organization to partner with. I took the course the week of July 22-25 in Windsor, CT and my instructor was Allen Young. Allen was top notch in providing the foundational knowledge and study techniques necessary to set you up for success. I passed the exam on my first attempt and I would recommend this program to anyone. read more

I attended contact PMP prep classes during the period of Oct 21-24, 2019. Instructor Allen was very knowledgeable on PMI material and was able to give us the necessary success tips to pass the certification test. The instructor is incredibly dedicated to providing an excellent quality of education, and always seeks to find answers if she doesn't have them. She does her absolute best to make sure we know the material, and having gone to university before this, it is so nice to have someone care directly about my success.
