They build pathways of hope for their clients so that they may meet their goals. Families struggle with a variety of obstacles and unexpected life events and they are here to help! Their core values are close to my heart. They believe that all children deserve to be loved, nurtured, and protected; that children belong with their family whenever safely possible; that people can change for the better when given the opportunity; and that compassion is key to understanding the struggles families face. They offer various community education programs like Kids on the Block (puppets at elementary schools) and Bright Beginnings (nurse educators teaching parents of newborn safe techniques). They also do intensive outreach for families like Positive Parenting (home-based program Parents As Teachers), Safecare (also home-based for parents with children 0-5 that have experienced adversity) and Family Connects (nurse educators support new parents in caring for their newborn). In addition, they also offer therapeutic services including counseling services for adults, children and families. They address problems related to current or past abuse and parenting issues. Therapists also offer group counseling services including Circle of Security and Nurturing Parenting. Finally, they nurture various strategic partnerships including the Anti-Bullying Collaboration (30 partner group promoting a safe, civil, and respectful community), Family Safety Center (child therapists embedded support) and Safe Babies Court Team (improving outcomes for maltreated infants and toddlers in state custody).

Aside from the studio on the first floor, they have a metal lab and a wood lab, each with 10+ machines available. Both labs have a minimum age and require PPE to be worn at all times. The second floor has classrooms and a conference room. They have a membership model with lots of options depending on how many hours per month you'd like to have as well as what room. The pricing starts at $39 a month, which sounds like an incredible deal since you get to use machines that are $30-60k. Classes are also available for signup on their website along with education programming for kids. They have a couple of workforce initiatives as well. This is a huge asset in our community!
