The staff and students all make you feel welcome, appreciated and at home. I haven't' started classes yet but the registration process was a snap, all thanks the the personal attention I received. I know I'm not just a number at TU but an individual. All of the staff I have had to deal with know who I am, my situation and are eager to help with whatever questions I have. If you're thinking of becoming a student here, just stop by for a visit. It really is an amazing campus and it's filled with some of the friendliest people I have ever met. We had one game this season where no umpire was scheduled but it was an understandable mistake. I think they need to improve the practice fields. The grass is sparse and they have lots of holes. I'm constantly worried one of my kids is going to twist or break an ankle. I'd love to see some small improvements for safer play on the practice fields. Also, it wouldn't hurt to widen the exit or ask the city to put in a light. Leaving can sometimes be a challenge. Over all my kids love playing soccer here!

The HRC is a state-of-the-art research, development, testing and education center. It's one of the projects of Tulsa for vision 2025 (1 penny, 13 year increase in sales tax for economic development and capital improvement). I have friends that are in the college of engineering, architecture and technology so I visit them every chance I get. There are common areas obviously but to get into the labs, you need special access. I was given a tour and they're amazing!

Watch out for the run around from Financial Aid, Bursar's Office, and Housing Department on campus. All three offices will attempt to place incorrect charges on accounts to try to solicit money. When calling to get in contact with admin at these offices they regularly give the run around and say that there is "nothing they can do to help" or "they do not have access/communication with that office on campus." Both responses are inexcusable from a supposed Top University and there should be training for administrators on how to help students instead of trying to "deal" with them. The cost of attendance is a complete rip off, and it reflects in on-campus food, student diversity, school spirit, school resources, and campus life. I will never advocate attendance until serious admin and diversity changes are made and when the cost of attendance reflects what the university ACTUALLY has to offer. Do not take this review lightly, I don't review often so hopefully this stops others from repeating mistakes, I would give zero stars if I could. The University of Tulsa is more of a business than a university, sadly they are not the only school that functions and prioritizes in this manner.

The interior is typical of most arenas but the bathrooms were dated and need better ventilation. Once entered all seating areas were adequate ti see floor ceremonies. My only complaint.... It was sooooooo cold inside the venue... I left with a cold and headache I was fully dressed and covered (clothing wise) and even wore a hat but it was freezing. Other complaint we took pictures inside and the lighting is so bad and the tint on the floor turned every picture green (awful) green tint on everyone's pictures.

Came this time to watch our daughter's commencement for her Master Degree. The seating is tight, but the seats are cushioned. Cup holders in the shared armrests. The area is well lit when needed. Acoustics are ok for concerts. Has lots of small bathrooms around the circled hallway. Has a handful of concessions. This place has a lot of good memories. Could really use some updating, but it still going strong.
