I currently teach armchair travel and history seminars for Lifelong Learning, but have also taken a bunch of different classes through this program, including yoga, pottery, craft and cooking classes. The instructors are reputable professors, tradespeople and professionals within their industry. Prices vary depending on how many sessions are taught for the one class. A class like pottery will meet 7 or 8 times and the cost is around $100, whereas my one-class travel or history seminars only cost about $18-$20 for a 2-hour presentation. Cost is also based on whether or not you are a resident of Upper Arlington. The difference isn't very much for non-residents, but there is a slight price break for those who live in the neighborhood. If you want to explore your artistic side, drawing, photography, oil painting, watercolors, and craft classes are among the offerings. If you prefer something more physical, choose from a variety of fitness, meditation and dance courses. Each quarter also brings random "one-off" seminars focused on topics like speed reading, local history or political issues. Classes are offered year-round and catalogues come out every quarter. The classes are open to the public and you can register on line, via telephone or the sign-up form in the catalogue, which you can request be mailed to you.

Very unprofessional & falsely influx's their NCLEX pass scores by setting up a made up number with an exit exam to allow people who they think will pass to take the NCLEX. High turnover rates, threatens students, and doesn't care about anything other than money. You're better being on a state schools nursing wait list than to pay $50K+ to get through the whole schooling and be told you have to pay an extra $3000 to retake a class although you passed it. A waste of time, money and resources.

Let me talk to an advocate. The lady acted like as if she didn't know what she was doing. I already knew she was a teacher of some sort because the way she walked and talked, but she treated me like I was stupid and took me to her office. I don't even know this lady first time I ever met her as soon as we got to her office I sat down and she says so what are your classes kept on acting like I was stupid like and I said well I need to be in these classes and she acted like she didn't know what she was doing she she says well I don't know what classes you take but whatever it is you need to figure it out and you need to figure out fast because I have a class to get to and I cannot be here waiting for you like it was so rude. She needs to change her attitude because quite frankly just cause I'm a student does not mean I don't have a brain in her mouth to defend myself. Sorry about the rant. Had I of known, been gotten back to in an appropriate amount of time I could have made other choices. But then again if you get to charge 50% of a class regardless then why would you. I've experienced an incredibly stressful and disappointing process with Franklin University. During this time, the university repeatedly violated its own policies by missing response deadlines they established. After nearly three months, I won my grade appeal, demonstrating that my concerns were valid. However, I am now facing another roadblock: the university registrar's office has not updated my transcript to reflect my earned degree. Because of this, I am missing out on job opportunities, a salary increase, and I am unable to apply to master's programs. My academic and professional life has been in limbo since November, and despite my efforts to follow every required process, the university has shown little urgency or concern for how these delays are impacting me as a student and working professional. This has been one of the most stressful experiences of my academic journey, and I would caution prospective students to consider whether this level of institutional responsiveness aligns with their expectations.

The event was well organized, as the canvas/paints/brushes/smocks are all provided. The activity itself was SO much fun! We ate pizza, sipped on wine and paint to our heart's content! Even though we had a large party of about 30 painters, the instructors, Anna, came around and helped me several times, even showing me what I needed to do and offering feedback. She was supportive and helpful. Despite my dreadful painting, I LOVED my experience with Art with Anna. I especially loved that the money raised went to support cancer research at the James.

My niece has been taking art camp classes here for a little over a year and she loves it! Her marks…read morein art at school have improved tremendously and she has so much fun with the other kiddos in each class she takes and with the super patient instructors (I teach high school and can't imagine having a group of 8yos all at once...that is my nightmare and the instructors here are saints!) It is so affordable ($30 for an art camp day session) and nice to know in advance what the craft for that day will be, that way we can avoid any repeat crafts.
